He was the showrunner. He first stepped down as the showrunner to become executive producer I believe, but now he's out completely. Regardless of if you've heard of him, this fact alone isn't exactly encouraging, a showrunner leaving his show. But he had experience as a writer on older Star Trek shows, and had some succesful TV shows of his own. I loved Dead like me, and Hannibal and Pushing Dasies are also from him. Haven't seen Hannibal, and actually can't stand Pushing Daisies, but they were both popular series, combined with the fact he already had Star Trek experience (from the "good old days"), and his departure doesn't fill me with confidence in this show. On another note, there has been some casting news as well, Michelle Yeoh and Doug Jones have been cast (and some other guy).

Got my blu-rays Saturday, so I could finally catch up with season 6. Watched it in one go obviously. Holy shit, all hail Lady Lyanna Mormont, Queen of the North!

Wow, I clearly didn't play enough Super Mario Galaxy.

Played and finished Soma 2 weeks ago. Incredible story, and especially fun after binge watching almost all of Black Mirror, there are certainly some familiar themes. Gameplay-wise is not that incredible, basically a much easier Alien. But it's ok. Play it for the story.

Conan and Elijah aren't fans.. I'll probably get it when it's inevitably ported to PC. I never finished a Final Fantasy, I just started FF XIII and it looks like I'll not finish that one either, but that's mainly because I was never a fan of the ATB battle system (though appartently FF XIII has a multitude of other issues as well). FF XV's battle system seems a huge step forward.

Went on a Netflix binge last month or so (after barely using it in general for a long time). Walking Dead season 6 I enjoyed it. It was better than season 5. And that cliffhanger.. being spoiled, I already know how it ends. Not sure if that matters actually. I still makes me want to see season 7, though I'll have to wait a year. Crazy Ex-girlfriend I've only seen a few episodes. I don't really follow comedy series, and I probably won't follow this one, but I heard great things about it, and it's a fun show for the occasional watch. Very funny songs. The Expanse Originally a sci-fi channel (oh I mean "syfy") series, it was one I was curious about, and when it came to Netflix, I just watched it in one go. Really enjoyed this one. Really love the world they created. I recommend this one to the sci-fi fans. My only fear is that sci-fi won't follow through with the series. There are various books, and more coming out, and season 1 apparently doesn't cover book 1 (got myself slightly spoilered after Googling book 1), so I suspect we're looking at a 10 season series at least. The 100 Was in the mood for more sci-fi after The Expanse, and this was also new. But haven't really enjoyed it (was kinda expecting it ). Will probably finish season 1, and start season 2, but can see myself abandoning this one if it doesn't improve. Frequency Yes, heresy! I loved the film, and really wondered why it needed a series (like every other film they're turning into a series these days). Then again, I do like the concept obviously, and the lead actress is hot. This is a series that gets a new episode every week, it's a bit of a relief actually, because the main reason why I rarely actually watch Netflix is that I just can't be bothered to start another 8 season series. The show itself.. Is mediocre (again, as expected I guess). Was hopeful with the first episode, but it's already clear they're spreading things to thin, with multiple storylines which ultimately don't serve the main storyline (or maybe perhaps it does, but I suspect it won't). Anyway, regardless, I can't stop staring at Peyton List, and maybe the show will improve, the potential is there, so I'll keep watching. Anyway, go watch The Expanse.

With the few things I Googled, I think I'll be finally heading to Gran Pulse afterwards, which hopefully will make things more interesting. Getting a bit tired of corridor after corridor and button-mashing every battle (only a slight exageration).

Finally downloaded FF XIII a few days ago (all 50 Gigs). I'm 23 hours in. When does the fun start? :p Edit: I dunno if FF XIII is considered retro.

I'll get Batman eventually, perhaps with Christmas. Game of Thrones will definitely get at least a 2nd season. But other than that no news there I believe. Borderlands.. is most likely not getting a 2nd season, even though to me it's probably the one I want the most.

That must also be the reason why The Walking Dead is delayed. I wonder when we can expect this (I already forgot about it actually). I suspect it's also delayed, but then again, they were also already working on it, and they didn't have a specific release date. Plus Batman is halfway through, which means The Walking Dead will be their only running project in the first half of 2017. But I don't think we can expect it before or at the same time as the release of the film. I also wonder if they will use the MCU. I don't think so, Marvel has been careful with using the MCU outside of films, even the Netflix series are barely part of it, plus you'll need a canon version of the story (although, that doesn't really matter anyway). If they do use the MCU, they'll replace the voicecast, there's no way they're getting the original cast. Well maybe some of them, I can see Vin Diesel being a good sport about it, and he'd have the least work to do.

Liked the first one, never finished it, but that was due to the game just not being that stable on my system. Totally skipping this one though, I can't stand the protagonist. I believe he's what people call a "fucking douchebag". And not just him, all the supporting characters as well. I don't want anything to do with those people.
