  1. Do we even need a trailer?
  2. And add compatibility with the expansion pack. Turok 2 seems to be coming as well by the way.
  3. I don't like his style much, but I almost always do agree with him. If I don't, it's a minor point that doesn't detract from the overall point he's making. For that alone I wish he had actually had some influence on both big publishers and the idiots who keep buying their games, and their dlc etc. But so far it's apparent he barely has any, no matter how good his points are. I genuinely think his videos are important for the gaming industry. Hopefully slowly things will improve, with some countries adjusting their laws to control lootboxes for example. For now, the one thing that needs to happen, is the rise of the AA studios. I think that would be the major positive development that this business needs. Edit: Also here's a recent penny-arcade comic that Jim would agree with:
  4. They'd better give me N64 controls. I may actually buy if they do.
  5. Another winner: Vita gameplay, but announced for Switch.
  6. This seems to be the context:
  7. Some would perhaps consider this NSFW:
  8. I did my part.
  9. The first film Seoul Station (which is animated in case this matters) is even better.
  10. Yeah the bad thing about Netflix using autoplay videos now when hovering over selections, apart from having autoplay videos, is dat you don't get an immediate description of what it is what you're hovering over. See @bob? You described it to me. It sounds interesting (and/or funny). It never looked interesting when I saw the title in my menu, but that's because I didn't know what it was about because Netflix doesn't describe things anymore immediately, and I'm much less inclined to just browse and instead to just search for stuff I already know is on there and I know interests me. This sounds like a lose / lose situation for Netflix? Not only that, they keep bothering me for my phone number lately, which they're not getting. But enough about complaints. "Nads, what the fuck?" "Look, I've got bigger fish to fry, ok? I've got to figure out how to get down the stairs."
  11. Watched some gameplay of Ape Out, and it looks absolutely boring.
  12. I dunno what to think. I loved the vibe of season1 , but the story was absolutely baffling at the end, in a not good way. But now this trailer shows up, and there's actually another dimension involved.. Maybe it ends up interesting after all. But the downside is that I've forgotten all about season 1 except for THE DANCE that I'll need to rewatch it.. Also, this will come to Netflix eventually.
  13. Overall, I like this season. Last two were less interesting, though the last one at least did something better that was a bit of a problem with the other (overall better) episodes: it focussed on one problem, and only had a quick scene about Hugh at the start. Some earlier episodes had too much going on, even if the main issue was interesting (the dying sphere thing, or the human colony), and reminded a bit of TNG episodes. But then they muddled it with other stuff like spore drive troubles and section 31 etc. Though I do like to see where the Section 31 thread is going. My main problem with last episode is the same as all the other stuff about Saru: it doesn't really stroke with what's previously was established about him and his species. Just a case of bad writing and continuity, which is a shame, because out of context I'd have liked the episode much better. Would have like to see more about the Ba'ul as well. Speaking of context, here's a tip: those Discovery shorts are available on Netflix. I didn't know at first. There are 4, and one is more backstory on saru, so it's great to watch before watching the Saru-focussed episodes. One is a complete standalone in the far-future.. Cool in itself, but might as well have been written as a non-Star Trek. Tilly's episode was weird and seemed like too big of an event to just dismiss quickly in a short. Very un-federation like. Then there was Saru like I said, and the last one was about Harry Mudd. Funnily enough, the one I was least interested in, as I don't particularly like (or liked?) the character, ended up being the best. Harry Mudd's short is genuinely hilarious and has a pretty good twist. "I’d be sipping Jippers on a beach!" Edit: Oh to be more specific, as they're a bit hidden away: the shorts are found under "trailers and more".
  14. I thought it look great, but then again the only games I've played are Green and Let's go Eevee. Even more convinced I'm picking this up, but no idea which version yet, and which starter to pick. I do find it a bit disappointing they didn't take some bits from Let's go, like the Pokémon visible in the world, and a partner Pokémon following you. But I'm excited to finally get to meet some new Pokémon. Just out of curiosity, where there actually any new Pokémon shown? Besides the starters that is?
  15. Don't worry about the price.. Capcom games go on sale after a month. Wait a few sales, and they'll quickly be down to 50% off.
  16. 3 minutes behind-the-scenes Detective Pikachu movie 2 minutes surprise announcement and trailer! Detective Pikachu for Switch! It's a port of the 3DS game. 1 minute apology: Pokémon Core has been delayed until next year. Gap will be filled with Johto DLC for Let's Go. 1 minute one more thing: for Smash
  17. I would both love it and find it hilarious. For me that's actually new territory, so I'd buy it.
  18. And 4 doesn't seem to get any physical release at all, in any region. The game people want most? Anyway, I already have 4 physically, so I guess it's not a huge problem. In this case. May download RE1 to experience it for the first time, and RE4 as a convenient backup.
  19. Probably business politics. To leave people guessing what the real reason was why they are cancelled.
  20. Oh crap, how could I forget Untitled Goose Game. I added it to the list.
  21. Time for an update. (Initially I wanted to limit it to titles interesting to me personally to various extent, then I decided to include more stuff, but including all of it is a chore. I did highlight all the stuff I'm more or less interested in.) 22. Toffee should have been named Trouble. Missed opportunity.
