I want to check out Bird Box, but I'm not expecting much of it. And you reminded me that I've seen The quiet place last year, and that it is missing from my list. Though I'm not super enthousiastic about that one etiher.. It was ok.

I'll use the fitness boxing thread to post any progress I may make. I was thinking updates at the end of every month. Though I intend to make a general post about the software as well. In short though, I've kept up with it, got an exercise streak of 12 days I think (session of +/- 35 minutes)? Every day since release in any case. Though apparently my BMI was technically good in the first place. Just need to lose fat and gain muscles. Anyway, it's too early to tell if it will help me achieve that goal, but for now I can confirm that I'm getting more exercise than before. Before Fitness Boxing, I actually intended to take up swimming. But I kind of want to see how far I can get with this alone, so i think I'll just use this for at least 2 months, than see if I want to do more. It's just that the Switch app, while being pretty mediocre to be very honest (again, I want to make a general post about it), but it is also terribly convenient.

So I have a pimple. .. On the fucking inside of my eyelid. Maybe it's something else I don't know. It feels like one. It's not visible to the naked eye.. It's pressing against my naked eye. GAH!

Tomorrow night Splatfest? I'm assuming it ends at Sunday 16:00 CET again, so Saturday night would probably be the best time to organize things. Unless I make last-minute plans I should be at home i the evening. It's a bit special as it has holiday decoration.

I wish I had that kind of money to nonchalantly go to Spain for just one film. That said, if I did go to Spain and saw just one film, I'm sure there's other stuff to. And I'd love to visit foreign film festivals in general. Cannes could be somewhat fun, but I believe is pretty hard to get into if you're not in the business. Berlin is I think very similar to IFFR in that regard. And I love to visit TIFF some day. Edit: and no I've never visited Japan either (yet!), sadly. Edit 2: I actually did visit London once mainly for just one film. It was the gala premier for The Hobbit.

I'll elaborate later, gotta go, but yes. In short.. Some festivals are really small events (IFFR is the really big international one), but that doesn't change that depending on where they are held, I can ride my bike to the respective cinemas.

I didn't add a legend yet, but they're festival films. The same colours as in the spoilered lists of the other threads. Maybe I should also have coloured the specials like the Ghibli and Wes Anderson specials, maybe I will later. Orange is IFFR, a "general" film festival, green is Imagine, a genre (sci-fi etc) film festival, purple is a Japanese film festival, and the single red one is from a Spanish film festival. In other years there was also an animation film festival, and some others.

Yup. After only one post, I'll finally post my more or less complete list (couldn't find all my tickets ) here, and more importantly, my favourites of 2018. I'll do better in 2019 buy watching more films (again it's pathetic) and keeping better track of them and posting about it here. Another thing, I was able to watch a lot of classics in the cinema because of special screenings, most of which I had already seen. Most of the Ghibli titles (saw 2 or 3 new ones, but had seen the rest), all of the Wes Anderson films (had not seen his first 3 films), and Akira. Oh and Office Space. I don't consider them for my favourites of 2018 with one exception which I had not seen before then. Since I've been playing with my new Raspberry Pi, I'll give you a very suspicious link at the end (which may or may not work) where you can see the complete list. I'lll edit in the list once I've automated the formatting. Nah, I still get them (read: ask for them) regularly.. I missed a few years I think because I didn't have a WiiU / 3DS, but I'd still ask for PC games on occasion. Last year was Snipperclips (physical) and Rayman. I would have asked for one this year as well, if I didn't really want that Raspberry. I'd probably would have asked for Mario Tennis, it's still on my wishlist. Looking at your pictures though.. I'm buying some blu-rays and new figures. Oh and Megaman 11. CDJapan is having a New Year's sale, and I haven't bought some Nendoroids in a while.
