And rightfully so. Soma.

It's only been 3 month, but let's update this.. I won't elaborate on all of them, but I need to highlight a few festival films. I have no idea if some of them will reach the cinema, at least over here in The Netherlands, and in Europe in general. IFFR was a bit didsappointing overall, with no films that I'm likely to consider a favourite of the year overall at the end of the year, but I did see some good ones. But the ones I liked most are also generally the ones that have so far no indication of getting a regular release. These are exactly the kind of films I visit festivals for, but on the other hand they're hard recommendations.. So ehh, keep the titles in mind? Harpoon ♥♥♥♥♥ imdb teaser 2 guys and a girl on a boat. They get stranded on the ocean. Now they have to decide who eats who. A very funny, but also very gory horror comedy. One of those world premières. So no idea how long it will take before you get the opportunity to see this. Tel Aviv on Fire ♥♥♥♥♥ imdb trailer Palestinian guy works on a Palestinian show that's about a Palestinian spy who falls in love with an Israelian commander. The show is popular on both sides, but this creates the problem of how they're going to end it.. Funny and light-hearted take on a difficult subject matter. The Best of Dorien B. ♥♥♥♥♥ imdb no trailer Belgian woman has a few setbacks in life. Bittersweet and funny dramady, with a terrific performance by the lead actress, who apparently wasn't a pro. Another world première, so no idea if or when. Though it was pretty popular with the public, so I think the chances are pretty high for at least a Dutch release. Els dies que vindran ♥♥♥♥♥ imdb teaser Catalan film about a couple getting their first baby. Another bittersweet and occasionally funny dramedy. Hats off to the actress for another incredible performance, especially as she was actually pregnant during the shooting, in fact that was what apparently started it all. Another world première, and Catalan to boot.. You will never hear of this film again. Bangla ♥♥♥♥♥ imdb no trailer Comedy about a Bangladeshi guy in Rome, who falls in love with an (super hot) Italian girl. Clash of cultures and family traditions. It's very funny, and for this guy's (the lead actor is also the director) first feature film it looked pretty slick. This film deserves more recognition, as I think it would appeal to a more general audience. But yet again, another world première, and as of yet no sign of a regular release. Anywhere. And two non-festival films: Eighth Grade ♥♥♥♥♥ imdb trailer Coming of age comedy about a girl in her last year of school before high school. Very funny and super sweet. Us ♥♥♥♥♥ imdb trailer Horror about a family who is forced to fight their eveil doppelgängers. Not sure if I should give this 4/5.. I really loved the atmosphere, and it was definitely full of suspense. Problem is the story doesn't make sense in a few ways. Even after googling the metaphors afterwards. Story-wise get out was better. Still though. Pretty fun. But if you have yet to see the film, and still intend to, here's a tip, read up on this piece of context: Hands across America. It's part of plot point. List of films I've seen in 2019

There are 2 Dutch words for fries. Or chips as you call 'm. Eenuh will probably call them friet or frites. Depending on where you are in The Netherlands ("above or below the big rivers", it's a bit of a cultural division) you call them patat (like a normal person) or friet like in Belgium. People have been murdered because of this issue.

They could easily add Squarby as dlc. What's that own in FEH?
-
The square Kirby and round Qbby from yesterday (..and in the other thread). This is only funny to Dutch speaking people.. So @Fierce_LiNk, consider this is your real test (or have @Eenuh explain it to you): Edit: StackOverflow had a nice site redesign, but it's already gone. But you can still enjoy Cern's: https://home.cern/

N-Europe's Top 10 (Voting over, check first post for results)

Where the fuck is The frog for whom the bell tolls? You disappoint me. -
I don't want the Nintendo and non-Nintendo stuff mixed. I'll go check the other consoles forum when I want to check the other news. I've mentioned this before, but threads are hardcoded to exist in a single subforum (/catagory). The ideal solution would be to have threads be able to exist in multiple subforums/catagories, that's how I would do it, but we both agree that's never going to happen.

Even if it releases on the same day as Fire Emblem, and even when that will consume all my time until I'm done with it, I'm getting this dammit. Gotta support those 3rd party games that are actually worth your money. No it is. I want to have at least one subforum dedicated to Nintendo (the least you can suspect on a Nintendo forum). I also use it as a quick overview to see Nintendo news I need to catch up on, and this is a prime example. I didn't know it was confirmed for Switch until I saw it here in this forum. I just got home.

More t-shirts coming. Don't find most of them compelling, but may get the Mario sprite one (again). https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/content/IDnintendo-museum2602.html?utm_campaign=UK_260319_Gundam_40_UT&utm_content=61109539089&utm_medium=email&utm_source=uniqlo Maybe I should turn this into a general Uniqlo thread. They regularly have cool printed t-shirts. But I absolutely hate it when Uniqlo decides whether a theme applies to men, women or kids. There are Moomin and Helllo Kitty t-shirts I want. Manly men can't wear Hello Kitty?

They will announce a new Final Fantasy Tactics (VR) especially for you in the next Playstation Direct!

Cool, I never finished the series. Back then I bought the first 2 DVD's.. Then didn't get around to buy the rest. I didn't buy many DVD's, and anime series back then were released on several DVD's with 4 episodeds max.. I mean I should get the blu-rays some day, but I'll probably go watch it on Netflix. I must say though, at this point I didn't actually expect to see the anime series before the final Rebuild film.

Can we get a link? I can't find a Dcubed in that thread. Watched a bit of the video. Why the hell didn't they edit out the first 13 minutes. :| It's off. Almost, but not quite.

I'm stuck with a lot of them, but have so far not resorted to external help (with the excep[tion of a tweet to the developer to ask how I get my level back, the one I turned into Baba. He mentioned something, but it doesn't even seem to work..). To me this is just going to be one of the games I'll fire up for quick sessions, just have a quick go at something, then go do something else again.

Overall slightly better I think. + Lots of new weapons, which are better balanced. + Fred warping + Shrines Planetoids + NPC's + - No unlockable new world. - I wish they made exploration harder by removing objective markers. Or something. ≈ familiar gameplay but with enough variations in weapons and mechanics to feel fresh.
-
Just finished it myself. I left the game after a few attempts at But after your post, I gave it another go, and changed tactics. One thing this games does better than its predecessor is the the other weapons have more uses. For this boss, I did the rest as well, I already had all the items, so I got the good ending. Yay! Though no unlockable new world unfortunately. I was also hoping I would be able to play as the other MA's. Anyway, bring on the dlc.

+0 Nah, don't care.

Oh by the way.. If you want to discuss specific Love Death + robots episodes, you should add the title, as Netflix has been experimenting with different episode orders. Your second episode may not be the same as someone else's 2nd episode. I think the first one is the same for everyone, Sonnie. I'll go check Star Trek in a few minutes, but I also saw another series that was added last week that sounds interesting. It's a Spanish sci-fi romance drama thing. Guy loses family, wants to commit suicide, gets another chance from some strange woman who gives him a device that lets him travel to parallel universes. Title was something like "If I hadn't met you" (in English obviously). I want to check it out, I'll report back when I've done so.

25-07 worldwide release.

It's another programming.. program. Has been delayed but now has a releasedate: 31-05-2019. Being brand loyal I'm waiting still waiting for Petit Computer, but that has also been delayed, and then you still have to wait for a western release. I think they both have their place though, along with RPG Maker MV. This one seems to be the most ambitious judging from the tech demo. I suspect they all 3 cater to different audiences: RPG maker MV is for beginners who don't want to to any coding or editing (I think they removed all the sprite and script editors for the console versions), and just want to create a RPG or adventure game using in-game assets. Petit Computer is for advanced players who want to learn to code. You need to code but it's still basic. Fuse 4 for even more advanced players, code seems more complex, and while you can do 3D in Petit Computer, this has a bigger fopcus on 3D. Plus there are still seemingly a ton of in-game assets to use, along with the option of creating your own 2D and 3D stuff.

But not for Nintendo fans.

Nindies Showcase Spring 2019 - 20/03, 4pm UK time
Sméagol replied to Ronnie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Cuphead (18-04-2019) - Must-buy. Waiting for physical release Overland (Autumn) - Most likely. Together with Mario + Rabbids and the also announced Mutant Year Zero.. Who needs Xcom? Too late Firaxis. My Friend Pedro (June) - Maybe. Looks cool, but too many games.. Neo Cab (Summer) - Maybe. Another cab game? Not a fan of the artstyle, but atmosphere is good. The Red Lantern ("later" 2019) - Likely. Digging the atmosphere. Darkwoord (May) - Very unlikely. Not a fan of artstyle, topdown, or crafting. Katana Zero (18-04) - Must-buy. Looks fucking awesome. Rad (Summer) - Unlikely. Want to like something by Doublefine, but trailer is not impressive. I do like the powerup system though. Creature in the Well (Summer) - Likely. Digging the atmosphere, and yes to more pinball mashups. Bloodroots (Summer) - Maybe. Action looks good, but with all the other stuff.. This is just not high priority. Pine (August) - Maybe. Visually not impressive, but could be interesting. Need to see more. Super Crate Box (04-2019) - No. Doesn't look interesting. Nuclear Throne (Now) - No. Cool game, but I already have it on Steam, and I'm shit at it.. Vlambeer Arcade ("later" 2019) - Maybe. Could be fun to have a growing library of arcade style minigames for short sessions. Swim Sanity (Summer) - No. Setting and gameplay don't appeal to me. Blaster Master Zero 2 (NOW) - Already bought motherfuckers. Do the same. Stranger things the game (04-07-2019) - Maybe. It's a cool promotion, but in hindsight, the game doesn't look super impressive (though not bad either). Should be released just before the show really. Cadence of Hyrule (Spring 2019) - Maybe. Crypt of the Necromancer never appealed to me. Gameplay sounds so weird I really need a demo first. So same applies to this game. But like I said in its thread, it's a slick trailer. And there are even some games announced outside this Nindie Direct.
