Best track in the game. I haven’t unlocked them all yet, but am pretty damn sure it won’t make a difference . Got this one earlier: *sniff*... I did 9.9 with R.O.B, and found it to be a lot easier than in the previous games. The biggest challenge in Ultimate (outside of Cruel Smash ) is definitely found in the legendary Spirit battles! Some of those are just nuts. Anyway, still working my way through World of Light, but having unlocked all the characters and done most their classic mode runs, it’s definitely time to start turning my attention more to online play now. Did manage to get some local multiplayer games in the other day, with a friend that used to play quite a bit of Smash up until Brawl. He’s not followed this version though, so was unaware of the fake Smash ball. Needless to say I took full advantage of that situation, with hilarious results! It’s a shame that trick will only work once.

They really are. I think we should try to include them in the league more often.

Heads up for those with access to the Japanese eShop, there’s a demo available for Dragon Quest Builders 2 now. Have downloaded it, looking forward to checking it out. Really hope they’ve made some improvements to certain aspects of the game since the first one.

Would be good, yeah. Outside of info from the Directs I’ve managed to stay spoiler-free so far. Hopefully there are still some surprises left to enjoy from actually playing the game.

Pre-loaded this yesterday, the icon now sits on my home screen... taunting me. I even ended up getting the fighters pass bundle! Watch every single one of those DLC characters be from Fire Emblem now.

Damn. I look forward to picking this up eventually from the bargain bin. Wonder just how low it’ll go.

I hadn’t considered that (clearly ) but yeah, you’re right. So cheers for pointing that out, I’ll obviously have to rethink my future gold coin usage.

It’s just one of those things where some people are more susceptible to it than others. I think it probably affects younger players more as well, seeing as they’ve generally had much less exposure to low frame rates than those of us that were playing games in the earlier generations.

And they’re all likely to die a horrible death. Going up against Smash Bros. Ultimate is surely going to wreck the sales of these games. Altough I guess they’ll pick up in the new year. I certainly intend on checking out Katamari and Guacamelee 2 at some point.

True, although I think JC3 might’ve even been a bit better at launch! Pretty sure they somehow managed to mess up certain aspects with the later patches, which is bonkers. TBH the performance issues of that game never really bothered me anyway, well... other than the load times, they were, and I believe still are, horrible. But the fact that the frame rate would absolutely tank during massive explosions was actually something I quite enjoyed! Added to the spectacle.

Same here, and I’ve already settled on the digital version (since upgrading my SD card recently) so I really should. Otherwise I might also be tempted to just order a physical version, if those retailers you mention do indeed start sending out copies early.
