Come on Stage Builder! Then this can truly become the Ultimate Smash Bros.
-
The event has made this absolutely insane, it’s tricky to even make the final 50 now! I’m pretty sure the most simultaneous attackers I ever had on this was around 5, it’s now 15. People really want those gold points.

They should get Miyamoto to renegotiate and have that made into a new Chibi-Robo game.

Pauline’s special shot actually plays a bit of Jump Up, Super Star! Gonna be spamming that like there’s no tomorrow then.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Online Thread

I still think time (2:30 or less) is the best setting for online play with a group of 4+ players at very different skill levels. It means everyone in a match is participating until the very end, and those that are spectating don’t have long to wait for their turn. Plus it increases the chance of Sudden Death (which is always fun ) and can create super exciting moments in normal play too, like that last GIF I posted with 3 KOs in the final second! Also, stamina was way more entertaining before when the characters remained on the stage after being KO’d. -

I will never understand how anyone can be good with Snake. Anyway, that’s it for me. Eyes are bleeding. Cheers for the games everyone! -

From the first DLC pack: New T-shirts!: Replayed the first stage as Shinobu. She has a couple of exclusive skill chips which are pretty cool, and there's new dialogue to enjoy as well. Cheers again @Hero-of-Time, for hooking me up with the DLC code. -
Great choices for opponents in that vid.

Dragalia Lost (Mobile) & Cygames’ partnership with Nintendo

Yeah, everything on the App Store increased in price a while back. SMR is definitely worth a tenner though, I got many hours of entertainment out of it (collecting all the coins was very challenging) and occasionally still go back for some Remix 10 too. -

Yeah. Think it was around 7 quid back when it came out, and is currently £9.99. -

It still amazes me how Super Mario Run has been the least successful mobile title for them, maybe because it's the only game that I actually spent money on. But yeah, it's just crazy how people were so reluctant to purchase an actual game, but completely hyper to buy random stuff (that isn't even necessary) in Fire Emblem. And from what I've played of Dragalia Lost so far, it looks like exactly the same story here... Spend money to purchase different characters and dragons etc. but none of it seems required to actually play the game. There's a stamina meter which depletes when you do a stage (that I assume is also tied to MTX) but I haven't got anywhere near to it running out completely and doubt that I'll ever play this for long enough (in a single session) for it to do so. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about Nintendo going down this road for now, don't think they're planning on doing a Konami just yet. -

Just been checking this out, the presentation is absolutely incredible for a F2P mobile game! Gorgeous visuals and high quality audio, very slick stuff. Although it’s impossible for me to unhear Material Girl on the quest selection screen music. I also like how they incorporated the Switch finger snap sound effect, nice bit of subliminal advertising there. Game is kinda confusing though, too many different currencies and systems going on for my liking. Will stick with it for a while anyway, I’m guessing everything will click after a bit more playtime. -

It was pretty satisfying, yeah. This was even better though: -
Gonna miss his battles with Geoff: Yeah, the Triforce of Miyamoto, Iwata and Reggie was great, a charismatic combo that made for some fantastic and highly entertaining moments over the years. I doubt we'll ever see something like that at Nintendo again, unfortunately. There will still be big personalities, but three at once, with that level of rapport? No chance.

If by hilarious you mean terrible, then yeah.

Yeah, I just grabbed that off a YouTube vid. Could get a cleaner version from my own capture as well, but it’s just a little something for our humble forum, right? No need to go nuts.

Yeah, completely bonkers. It’s even more mind blowing when I think back to first playing the GB version though. I’d love to be able to time travel and tell 10 year old me about Tetris 99!

Not sure if you still want this, but if so... Kinda hard to see when it's smiley size though. Here's the original:
