  1. They are when you’re lazy, yeah.
  2. Definitely digital version for me, gonna need easy access to this game at all times!
  3. Yeah, the motion controlled camera in VR BotW is definitely iffy. Luckily, using the right stick for camera control as usual seems fine. I have to say I'm impressed with how well it runs. There's obviously some flaky sections with very noticeable frame rate dips (Korok Forest which was always a problem area has absolutely shocking performance in VR ) but in general it seems pretty good. It's just amazing to see the game in S3D, I especially love what the effect adds to shrines, the new sense of depth is a perfect fit for those. And taking on a Hinox now is quite the experience! As I've made a headstrap for my Labo VR goggles I can definitely see myself doing a full playthrough of Zelda in VR, not sure I'd like to attempt it using the method that Nintendo have in mind though. Seriously, what were they thinking with this hold it up to your face malarkey! Also had a go on Mario, it definitely feels like a more comfortable experience due to the much smoother frame rate, but it's disappointing you can't just play the entire game in VR. The intro and ending movies look great in 3D though! Anyway, more VR modes for existing games please, Nintendo!
  4. Keep your eyes open!: Oh... and Tennis, anyone?: "Keep your eyes open" didn't exactly pass the beta test just now (@Glen-i got stuck inside the pencil and the fireballs stop moving) but that makes it even more entertaining so I'm not gonna bother fixing it. *EDIT* And another:
  5. Thanks, @Glen-i and @BowserBasher, that was just hilarious! Crying my eyes out here, so it’s hard to keep them open. Man, I love this game.
  6. Looking forward to seeing that.
  7. We were indeed. Not one of mine though (I wish my stages got featured on GameXplain ) someone must have downloaded it from Smash World.
  8. New stages!:
  9. So yeah, I was totally getting this game... and then the 3.0 update for Smash Bros. arrived. Sorry Cuphead. Reckon I'll wait for the physical release now.
  10. The only thing better than playing Smash Bros. is playing Smash Bros. with friends, and the only thing better than that, is playing Smash Bros. with friends on custom stages!! So with that in mind, I hope everyone enjoys this vid of N-E custom stage Smash Bros. shenanigans!: Can't wait for the next session.
  11. It’d certainly be helpful, and if they’re ever going to update stage builder (unlikely) then yeah, that’s something they should definitely look to add. It’s actually not much of a problem if you’re just doing circular or square shapes though, especially by making use of the grid, or holding down the shoulder button when drawing to retain aspect ratio. If there was a copy function I’d only use it for freehand stuff I reckon, as it’s far more annoying to duplicate that than simple shapes.
  12. Amazing vid, @Glen-i! I’m yet to really use the editing feature, will have to check it out once I get over my addiction to stage builder. Seriously... I can still see the UI whenever I close my eyes! Send help!
  13. Uploaded a bunch of Mii Fighters, including the Fresh Prince gang!: Hit the daily limit for posting stuff too (which seems to be 15), so no more from me today. But I’ll be back!
  14. 2 more stages:
  15. Yeah, this is what I've been using: It's super responsive, but the fat tip also makes it kinda tricky to use. I see there are ones with thinner tips that look more like standard pencils now though, any idea if that type also work on the Switch touch screen? Might have to invest in one if so.
  16. Going into custom stages blind online is so much fun, as a player and a spectator. I love figuring out a stage I've not played before, and it's also really fun to see how other players react to mine. Especially when they've got little secrets, like the hidden area in the Pikmin stage, and how to get into Snake's cardboard box. BTW, did you like the Easter egg inside that one? Originally it was going to be more faithful to the ones you find in Metal Gear, but I was worried It might get reported, so toned it right down.
  17. With this too?: Bring it on!
  18. Ah yeah, that's a new one of mine. Will post it tomorrow. Think I got everything on vid tonight (hopefully my capture card didn't play up) will see about some highlights.
  19. Which one? Also, what is up with "random" select in this game!?
  20. I guess that's my cue to leave. Cheers though guys, that was EPIC!
  21. Here be mine: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will blatantly take the top spot at some point, thanks to Stage Builder. Then I reckon the only games with potential to top the list after that will be Super Mario Maker 2 and Animal Crossing.
  22. Cool. I’ll be sure to actually have a custom stage selected from the start this time. Heads up for anyone that joins, make sure you have a custom stage set as your preferred choice in the battle arena! I (and a few others) didn’t realise this on Thursday, so we kept getting the odd regular stage at times. I’ve also since realised that it’s possible the choose random from within the custom stage section, so that’s probably the best choice as it’s means no need to leave the ring to select a different stage. Not sure what the options are if a player doesn’t have any custom stages saved. Hopefully in that case it’s still possible to choose random and have it load up a custom stage from someone else.
  23. Any interest in another custom stage Smash session, today at 8pm?
