This is the most likely option I reckon, as they will definitely want to avoid what happened with Super Mario Run. I still find it unbelievable that Fire Emblem has been way more successful for Nintendo on mobile than both Super Mario and Animal Crossing! Here's hoping this game hasn't been delayed to change it to Fire Emblem Kart.

I’m sure it will, most indie games do these days, right? Indeed. It’s been even longer since the last Advance Wars for me, as I skipped Dark Conflict. Hated the way they messed with the look in that version.

This is out on Friday, and looking pretty good indeed. Despite not being a huge fan of turn based strategy (and also being absolutely terrible at them ) I do kind of miss the Advance Wars series... so yeah, thinking I might have to check this out. It seems to have some fantastic customisation options and editing tools as well. Not only can you create custom levels, but entire campaigns, complete with little cutscenes! As seen in the opening of this review: Very cool. Who's picking this up?

Piranha Plant is just hilarious. Really fun character to use, but it feels like the specials will take some getting used to. Down B is especially weird as it's kind of counter-intuitive, pretty versatile though as you can modify the power and angle. Neutral B is very handy for defending the edge. Side B doesn't seem so great but Up B is absolutely nuts, crazy recovery distance! Still a ridiculous character choice, but they really have made it work.

No More Heroes: Travis Touchdown Strikes Again

It was a review code. Only got it a few days before the launch of the game too, so couldn't get the review done any sooner unfortunately. But yeah, I'd gladly take that DLC code, thanks. -
Yeah, really expensive too! I like the look of the Switch Pro Controller, but now that I've got an 8BitDo adapter I just use my old Wii U Pro. No gyro or snapshot buttons, but still super comfy to use and best of all, no stick drift!

I can definitely think of another thing. ... .. . I'm still amazed it didn't make the cut. I mean they literally could've just included Smash 4's stage builder.

No amount of updates can fix the Joy-Cons, the build quality on most of them is simply terrible. I still have the drifting issue on both left and right sticks, and have also discovered that this... ...is more of a problem than I initially thought. You see it turns out that although the right Joy-Con still connects along with the left one, i.e. as a pair. It will no longer connect as a single Joy-Con. And the reason for this is another pretty common design flaw, in that those tiny L & R buttons on the rail of the Joy-Con (together with the LEDs) are connected to the motherboard via a ribbon cable that has been soooo flattened in the assembly process it is super flaky and can stop working very easily indeed. I decided to open up my right Joy-Con to check this out and sure enough, as soon as I straightened out that ribbon cable the LEDs lit up and those little L & R buttons were functional again. Unfortunately it's seemingly impossible to get it put back together with the connection still intact, no matter how much I tried, that severe bend in the cable would always cause the connection to fail whenever I closed up the Joy-Con. Really annoying! It's surprising just how much Nintendo's build quality has dropped over the past couple of generations, I mean they used to be exceptional in that regard. No way would the Switch be able to replicate this:

Yeah it's a great looking game, and I'm guessing the unlocked frame rate doesn't help either. I recently started playing Nioh, and playing that in action mode also makes my PS4 freak out quite a bit. Whereas if I set it to movie mode (locked 30fps) then the fan noise is basically cut in half, i.e. at a normal level. Have just been tolerating it anyway as the game plays so much nicer at 60fps. The slower pace of Resi would work fine at 30fps though, so hopefully they add an option for that at some point.

I love the credits minigame! It’s just so damn hyper, it makes me want a full shmup game like that.

So they patched in a brand new intro video for the game (messing up part of my review in the process ) and yeah... It’s quite a game changer when it comes to the story! The original intro can still be seen by hanging on the title screen, BTW. -
Wowzers! Yeah, that’s pretty nuts. I guess the decision to restart development was made a bit easier due to the fact we’d seen nothing but a logo. Must be so disappointing for everyone that’s been working on the game though.

Great games @Ugh first aid & @Glen-i! You two are crazy good with so many different characters! I need to practice more. -
First GP was shocking for me, I clearly should’ve done some warmup races. Shame you couldn’t make it, @Glen-i. You still planning to play some Smash Bros.?

I might pop on for a bit of post-MK Smash too. Not played it in over a week! Hopefully I still remember how to be terrible at it. -
Always IN! please @Glen-i

Did you find the shotgun? Plenty of impact with that thing, perhaps even a bit too much. Oh, and did your PS4 also make a fuss while playing this, or are you one of the lucky people that’s blessed with a quiet system?
-
Had a go on the demo for this yesterday, shame you only get 30 minutes to play it. I reached the end point in around 20 mins and then jumped back in to explore a bit more for the final 10. Game is stunning, but looks like it’s yet another one of those titles that sends my PS4 into complete meltdown. The fan noise was just insane for the entire duration. Really puts me off from picking up the full game.

Totally forgot about this but I made a highlight vid from that crazy smash session back in December, anyway here it is: -
A similar thing happened to me...
