Forgot about some: Switch: Enter the Gungeon (no idea how far I am on this) TumbleSeed (same with this one) Zen Bound 2 (almost complete) Lode Runner Legacy (a few adventure levels left) Pool Panic (about half way through) Cave Story+ (just started playing recently) PS4: Crypt of the NecroDancer (I'm terrible at this game, so kinda gave up) Dangerous Golf (don't recall finishing this) Nioh (on the 3rd region) Still under 10 titles though (and mainly indie stuff), so not too bad.

That banana peel on Wolf... -
Zen Bound 2 (almost complete) Lode Runner Legacy (a few adventure levels left) Pool Panic (about half way through) Cave Story+ (just started playing recently) And on PS4 it's only Nioh, which I'm also playing through at the moment. If I were to include watch list stuff and games I'm yet to purchase then the backlog would be gigantic! But yeah, I try to resist buying games until I'm definitely able to play them.

Ah! Yeah, I’d like to say that’s what I was trying but the truth is I was just doing my usual thing of spamming certain taunts because they amuse me. It’s a real problem with some of the characters, none more so than Pikachu though... “Pika Pika!” Had actually forgotten about Fox’s special taunt. On the subject of taunting, the Bayonetta x2 fight was a lot of fun. -

You messed up my what now? Yeah, not sure exactly what you’re referring to (I struggle to keep up with the game as it is ) but I’m sure it was as much of an accident as that Super Horn in MK. Good fun as always though. -

I’ll be there. -
Man, that was some intense MK right there! Great stuff. I just love unnecessary use of the Super Horn, always funny.

This definitely seems to be more of a thing with Nintendo and I guess it's driven by the fact that part of the more devoted fan base (people that only game on Nintendo's systems, or to yet another extreme, only play their games) are pretty much insatiable. So yeah, for that group of fans it's constantly a case of wanting more, being in a permanent state of hype for Nintendo Directs and feeding off baseless speculation. This GIF sums it up nicely. The Corgi represents those fans and the ball is anything Nintendo, real or not:

It would be good if W101 makes it to Switch so more people get the chance to play it, but the only Wii U port I'm still interested in is Super Mario Maker. I'd say it's one of the simplest to convert too, as a grid based editing system works just fine (if not better) with button controls, and the option of using touch could still be there in portable mode anyway. Looking forward to finding out what all of these mystery games are!

Yeah, they really should substitute those Japan exclusives with something, or simply include them regardless of not being translated. I mean it wouldn't make sense for stuff like RPGs, but Joy Mech Fight is totally playable without any understanding of Japanese, and Tsuppari Ōzumō looks like it would be too. I originally had no intention of keeping the JPN version of Nintendo Switch Online installed on my system, but now that exclusive games are part of the equation it's definitely staying put.

Unfortunately not, if anything it gets worse! I really wanted to love this game (especially after the demo made such a great first impression) but it's just designed in such an annoying way. A real shame too, as it's got a lot of good stuff going for it. I'm hoping the sequel is more enjoyable.

Only if the person playing it is boring, dull and boring. Well at least we can agree there.
-
Tell me about it.

Each to their own and all that, but I'm sorry, you guys are absolutely barmy when it comes to Breath of the Wild.
-
Yes. You will be too.
-
Nah, rubbish game.
-
I ended up getting it yesterday. Put about an hour into it so far. The presentation is interesting but not sure if I’m convinced on the gameplay just yet. It’s definitely in the right sale though, game is super weird.
-
Yeah. Can’t see them going with a virtual controller option though, but you never know.

Direct pointer/touch control of the pills. Works surprisingly well, although it means the pills and bacteria need to be rendered larger than in the standard game.
-
I imagine it’ll be similar to the WiiWare and 3DS versions.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp ( Mobile Game. Out Late Nov )

I've taken occasional breaks from playing this before and still been able to get back into it. All you really miss out on is some time exclusive items/events, as the new villagers can be met whenever. No weeding to do either! I'm quite surprised they haven't added that element in some form actually. -

Another big update to this game yesterday. It's pretty crazy just how much has been added/changed from the original version now. They implemented 3 new fruit types, but only one of them will actually appear in your game (a la native fruit from the console versions) so you have to acquire the rest from other players. There's a new treasure map mini-game, where you can win materials, bells, leaf tickets etc... even new villagers. And it's now possible to complete villager requests much quicker, by having Pete make the deliveries for you. I can't wait for AC on Switch, but I'm really glad Pocket Camp is still going strong. It's been filling the AC void very nicely.
