  1. Trailer for Kick-Ass 2: http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=36786 It looks solid. I was a bit disappointed with the comic itself but the movie actually looks good. I had a hard time believing that was Jim Carrey, though. It didn't sound like him and the mask (pun intended) made it impossible to see who it was.... Or well. He's got quite old.
  2. Oh God... why?
  3. I don't normally like rythm-games but this just looks so good. Might actually pick it up!
  4. Yes, if you're lifting heavy, you'll need the rest. There is no way in hell I'm gonna do anything but relax between sets at the moment. It's if you're not doing max weights rep out you could be doing exercises between sets.
  5. Yeah, there's no need to rest too much between sets and you could just do intermittent exercises. So if you're deadlifting, you could try doing pull-ups or push-ups in the breaks to exercise some other part of the body at the same time. Whew, I'm busted today. The programme is getting harder now. The coming two weeks I'll be doing: 5 sets of 6 reps of squat @ 92.5 kg, clean @ 65 kg, and deadlift @ 110 kg (! should do 115 kg but I felt that I wouldn't be able to do that for four more sets after trying one set yesterday), and then 3 sets of 10 jumping squats @ 45 kg. I'm definitely feeling it and especially the cleans are getting really hard (the others are just heavy but manageable whereas cleans put so much strain on the entire body).
  6. Well, I guess they nailed the humour. Or well, at least I laughed from that trailer.
  7. You don't get stronger by exercising. You get stronger from resting between exercise. I go about five times a week. But if I do go 7 days in one week, I'm tired and take two days' rest after that. Five times is optimal for me it seems.
  8. I'll pick it up too. The first previews I've read made me want it, and it does look interesting. Also, the ending to III makes me wonder how this'll work out. Hopefully it'll be less action outside the Animus - I never really liked that. I also hope that they open up assassination a bit more again, in III it was more like hit'n'run whereas in I and II you had to plan a bit ahead. However, I do think they should have waited a year more to release it. Just so III wasn't so fresh. They made us believe that III would end the series so announcing a IV so soon was a bit of a shocker. That's actually my main gripe with this game.
  9. Their faces are so wrong it hurts! Other than that, I'll watch the game and expect the worst pile of shit ever but hopefully I'll be proven wrong. I'd love a good Turtles game.
  10. Got Fallout 3 from yesterday's sale. Don't know if I thought that through just wanted it for quite a while and 440 MSPoints is really cheap but come to think of it I might need the DLC which is expensive so I should maybe just have looked for a GOTY-edition which I've found cheap somewhere sometime.
  11. Move it to general chit-chat and let the discussion about the movie roll on?
  12. I llked the trailer. Hoping for the best.
  13. I've also caught a cold. Was feverish Monday and sluggish Tuesday so didn't do anything there. Then did my normal heavy lifting Wednesday, crossfit Thursday, and heavy lifting again Friday. Got a very big blue mark on my leg after that as I dropped a 57.5 kg weight on my quads in a clean so that looks beautiful. I took a break today, did some light walking, and tomorrow I'll do some cardio to clear the snot out my head. Some light to medium exercising always help on colds for me so definitely gonna go for that level. Maybe medium-hard-ish if my legs are up to it.

  20. The Skittles scene was awesome. Just perfect. But yeah, the last few episodes have been rather good. Not great but indeed better than anything in season 8 so far, and perhaps better than most episodes of season 7 too.
  21. Mini my arse: It actually occupies more space than the original Wii. Also, and How does it display pictures?
  22. The sale started today but with some trouble. Majornelson reports that the games on sale today are Halo 3 Halo 4 Halo: Reach Halo Wars http://majornelson.com/2013/02/25/xbox-live-ultimate-game-sale-starts-today/ but the following titles are also at a reduced price: Call of Juarez Bioshock The Darkness Grid Rayman Raving Rabbids Virtua Fighter V Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter TCs Rainbow Six Vegas I bought Bioshock for the equivalent of £4.5. Edit: Ah, seems like there are just additional offers this week. The offers in the list here last all week: http://majornelson.com/2013/02/26/additional-xbox-live-ultimate-game-sale-items-on-sale/
  23. Is it just me or is it more like the original suit this time around? To be honest, I really liked the new suit in TAS1, perhaps even more so than the original suit.
