I wouldn't worry about sugar from fruit. Just don't overdo it in general and don't eat (much) sugar from other sources. Seriously, one would have to eat a bucketload of fruit every day for a long period to gain weight and by then, your stomach would hurt so much. Just go for "no more than three pieces of fruit a day" and "no two fruits of the same kind a day" and you'll be fine. Also, as Charlie asked: What is one unit?

I'm printing the final version of my master thesis today to be handed in tomorrow!

Aw, shame. But well, with all those games comming up from now to January, one less to buy is better.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-07-16-final-dlc-for-dishonored-the-brigmore-witches-gets-release-date Final DLC for Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches gets release date, 13th August, 800 MSPoints/£7.99/€9.99. Awesome. Hopefully, they will run a deal for getting both DLCs cheaper.

Today, at the gym, I saw a guy doing pull-ups with about 40 kg hanging in a dip belt. He didn't just do one, more like four or five. I was severely impressed!

Man Kills Wife And Posts Photo Of Her Body On Facebook
MindFreak replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
Disturbingly, I don't find the killing or the reasons for the killing her that disturbing; as you all said, it happens all the time and it's terrible but hardly something that makes the news these days, and he seems remorseful as Rummy said. I just can't help but think of all the friends of him and her, logging on Facebook while eating breakfast and seeing that... It's mainly because of the photo; had it just been a status update it might not have been too much. (Well, I just don't like seeing photos of real dead people.) -
Man Kills Wife And Posts Photo Of Her Body On Facebook

THe worst part of it is the photo. It's really disturbing that he actually posted a photo of her dead body to all his (and her?) friends instead of just calling the police right away. -
So Electro was bitten by genetically manipulated electric eel? Well. Alright. Looking forward to seeing that trailer in better quality.

And also confirms that the Mega-Evolutions can only be used in battle and thus temporary.

Will they have their own entries in the Pokédex? Perhaps this is the result of some Pokémon being near some nuclear plant.

The women at 25-30% are gorgeous. Last I got my BFP measured, it was 9.2 I think (up from 8.5). @Animal: The small lump of belly fat is the last fat you'll lose on a diet. It takes ages, discipline, and really healthy food for one to lose that. It's where the body's main reserve lies so the body will cling on to it by any means necessary. Most people never lose it. Heck, even at 9.5 % body fat, I still have a small lump, and whenever I eat bad food (ice cream, cake, etc.) I instantly see the difference on it (maybe that's part psychology, but still, the day after I've had ice cream, I always feel a bit heavier). So take it easy with it, work out regularly with weights and eat normally, then it'll be less visible in time.

The slow weight losses are by far the best and are easiest to sustain afterwards so good going!

Wow, bench press and pull-ups are a great combo! Went to the gym for some arms training and decided to go for 5 bench press and then 5 strict pull-ups, 6 rounds of that. Ended up loving it so much that after the 6 rounds I took 5-4-3-2-1 bench press with increasing weight while maintaining 5 pull-ups between rounds, so have done about 50 strict pull-ups today, along with some ring rows. That felt so nice! Also, knee's getting much, much better now. Might be able to go back to do some light leg early next week.

I'm waiting for the GOTY-edition of this game. Rumours say that it will be released in November.
-
Oh, haven't seen those pictures before. But then yes. And we'll get at least three per character again.
-
It's not surprising, but I guess this also shows that taunts are back.
-
It doesn't like me resting upon it so I'll stay off it for a while. It's got a bit better now, though.
-
Of course, the pull-down works. Hadn't thought of that as I only think about free weights. Thanks.
-
Yes. Yes, you gain weight (or stay at the same weight) by gaining muscle and losing fat. --- Can barely walk today. Must've hurt my knee pretty bad so no leg days for me for the next week or so. Might go to the gym to do some upper body workouts but is there any way to perform pulling exercises without standing? Pull-ups work of course but other than that?

Oh. From what I've previously read, runner's knee gives pain on the outside of the knee. I believe you're talking about pain in the "Lateral collateral ligament"? The thing connecting the back of your thigh bone to the outer shin in the lower leg? I've had pain there as well.
-
Neither am I a doctor, but try googling "runner's knee" and read about how that hurts. So, speaking of hurting knees... Right, I hurt my kinees today! I landed on my leg when my knee was a bit over-stretched (I'm hyper mobile in many of my joints) so now I'm sitting with my leg on the table, the knee wrapped in ice. It hurts when putting pressure on it but I can at the moment move it by myself and even do a half-squat. I'll wait and see but no hard training this week. Maybe some mild cycling and lightweight squats to parallel.
-
Where does it hurt? Outside, inside, left, right? On the running shoes subject, I myself use five fingers. They are ugly as fuck but after getting used to them, I really like running in them. I once had some padded running shoes but after a short while I got runner's knee so as I was used to running barefooted around indoors from gymnastics, I thought I would try five fingers out. That was one of my best decisions ever, although I could have chosen some other minimalistic shoe as well. Like Innov8 Light or whatever they're called.

I want this game too! Damnit.

Normally I hate exercising in the morning. I need at least two hours to wake up and get ready. But Saturday morning I went for a run, as I wouldn't have time for any exercising that day if I didn't do it there. I started out thinking that it was okay for me to just take it easy and such, it being before 8AM and all, but when I got back, I had run 4.73 km in 19:26, i.e. new record! I was really surprised at that as I didn't think I ran all that fast. On a related note, do any of you run in minimalistic shoes, i.e. five fingers, barefooted? What kind of shoes do you work out in? All too often I see people heavy lifting in padded running shoes and they are apparently unaware that it's relatively bad to do that.

Impressive. If she could hold her neck straight instead of looking up, she could go higher. Some research has found that bending you neck like that weakens you so holding your head in a neutral position through a lift might help one to lift heavier. It's a common mistake, though. When the trainers say "look up to widen your chest" they mean that you should look up "through the eyes", not "through their necks".
