Gamereactor gave it an 8 (and 7 on the Danish site). I don't think this game is for me now that I've read some reviews. It seems to have too much focus on guns and action rather than stealth and exploration. I'm very disappointed that the main set of weapons is

XBox Live Ultimate Sale starts on Tuesday, with heavily reduced prices on some games http://majornelson.com/2013/02/22/the-xbox-live-ultimate-game-sale/ Nothing for me in that least, really, but if Fallout 3 is properly priced I might pick that up as I've heard a lot of praise for it.

Will Season 3 follow book 3 "entirely" or only half of it? I heard somewhere that book 3 would be split into two seasons.

Empire's Retro Video Game Music Quiz

I just found it now and didn't do so well on lvl 2 and 3. But level 1 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, whereas on level 2 I only did 7 and 11 (I just hated how on 11 you were only able to get it right if you typed the second title). I couldn't get any on lvl 3. -
I like the name Xbox Inifnity but it will be a pain to write it shortly for many seeing as ∞ is not a part of a normal keyboard (it is on Mac, though). I guess one could just write XI or something but that doesn't look as cool as X∞.

I'm not in on the soccer-terms. Championship > premier league, or?

I finally succeeded in making my girlfriend watch the first episode this week so now we've watched episode 3. I'm liking the feel of the series but I don't really get the hype. Will watch it, though, in contrast to Breaking Bad. It's just really a shame that previous episode of Big Bang Theory spoiled something in an episode of WD season 3. That's just not fine in any way! :/

Exactly. My knees weren't happy with them the first times. It wasn't so bad yesterday so I don't know if it's just a case of them getting used to it. But seeing as it does the same to my knees as the thing that injured them seven years ago, I'm glad this is only 10 minutes a week for 8 weeks.

The world record for plank is 80 minutes I think. It's insane. Hm. Might actually look into that 100 push-ups-program. I'm now done with the first two weeks of the training experiment, I was talking about earlier. The first two weeks we were doing 3 sets of 10 reps of squat, clean, deadlift, jumping squats and then 2 sets of 2*24 walking lunges. If we could do more than 10 reps in the third set of an exercise, we should add more weight. I went from 78 kg to 90 kg today in deadlift. The rest of the exercises I didn't tamper much with, only added a little more weight to clean and squat. I really don't like jumping squats with weights but I have to do them. 32.5 kg on you shoulders, jump! It just doesn't feel right and with a bit of DOMS in the shoulders, it hurts. Next two weeks will be 4 sets of 8 reps of each

Phew. Cleared High Chaos tonight. Quite liked that it changed the game so much but I didn't like that Samuel had come to dislike me. I think I enjoyed the stealth-mode the most but if I ever play the game again, I'll go for a mix but mostly steatlh. Got 49 achievements on the game, didn't want to go for "Mostly flesh and blood" as I guess it makes the game both overly hard and a bit more boring. Might go for it some day but for now I'll give the game a rest. Is the DLC any good?

Nintendo 3DS Direct - 14/02/13 - 3pm CET / 2pm GMT

Yeah, that would have been prefered, of course, but well. If this is the games they want to make, it's a good solution. -

NSLU will be neither free nor cheap I suspect. But it's a way for Nintendo to get around their previous statement ("there will only be one NSMB-game on each system). I think it's a good solution as long as it's priced right (i.e. not near the price of a new game). I might pick up MH3Ultimate for the 3DS. It seems like a good portable game. But the demo will tell me that, it seems! -
I don't get much DOMS in the legs nowadays. Weighted walking lunges hurt but other than that, I don't experience much DOMS in the legs. I'm usually attacked in the upper body, though. The other day I did a workout consisting of an 'EMOTM' 10 minutes (every minute on the minute) of 6 burpees and 6 kettlebell swings @ 28 kg and then 21-15-9 reps of KB deadlift and front squat, both @ 28 kg, so you would expect my legs to be sore. But no, I had DOMS in my fucking triceps and shoulders! I don't get it, those exercises were hardly using the arms, maybe except for the burpees but that's not hard on the arms. My legs were fine.

I enjoyed Origins pretty much in single player. I didn't really enjoy it in multiplayer but that might have been because I played it with someone who just wanted to 'have fun' and smack me about and didn't want to go explore and look after secrets and chests. That frustrated me quite a lot. I think it might have been more fun if I had already completed the game when I played co-op.

I hope they put the Raj-version in the game as an alternate costume.

I wasn't really talking about spot reducing weight, even though it could be read that way. Sorry for that. No, I meant that if you only need to lose that last bit of fat around the belly, then a low carb diet would work. As I also said above, I don't stay away from carbs and I'm fully aware that I need them to be at my best, I just don't eat the ones that 'come alone', in general. But otherwise, you're absolutely right. However, it would for the most part of the population be a good idea to cut back on carbs and up the vegetable and meat intake. Now, about biceps... Hate that muscle! But I've found that "sumo deadlift high pull" and "one handed pulling" with kettlebells actually work them out rather well without being boring exercises. Also, chin-ups are a great variation to pull-ups and works the biceps somewhat.

I've never lifted as heavy as I do now, four months of low carb diet.... Of course I eat carbs, I just only eat carbs that come with something else. I eat lots of fruit, eat oat meal in the morning, lots of vegetables, and then lots of meat. For my meat I just eat root beets, carrots, and other roots. They are richer in vitamins than potatoes.
-
If you want to lose weight around the waist, don't do carbs. It actually almost as simple as that. I've always had a little fat there as well (most people have) and when I began to cut back on bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes, I actually lost much of that fat there. Of course, I still exercise very regularly and do lots of heavy lifting so that helps too. Yesterday I did a 1.5 arm pull-up. It was much, much easier than I would have thought.

I still haven't changed my opinion on the game, it looks a bit stale fighting wise. And I seriously hope that this was a cinematic replay because otherwise, I think the game interrupts the fight too much by showing 'cool' moves.

Completed this game on Low Chaos today (boom, 320 points!) but with every upgrade I could think of. I think the ending was fine but I didn't like the easiness of getting Emily back. She just shouted "Corvo!" and ran to my neck even though there were three men in the room next to me with no door between. That seemed kinda off. I really liked the game, though, and I will definitely go through it again on high chaos as I see that the game is quite different in that way (and easier?). Also, I need to do the Granny Rags and Slackjaw missions.

I would also like it to be completely without guns. I've always hated guns in the installments. They feel so... un-assassin-ish. I also like the idea of ancient Egypt but Victorian London also appeals to me.

I don't really care about it needing to be online 24/7 as my Xbox360 already is. Surely, you'll be able to play games offline. I can't see any reason not to have that possibility. But the thing about second-hand games is awful news. I rarely buy them or trade them in but I like to have the opportunity to if I felt to. And I have bought a few pre-owned titles because I didn't want to pay much for them. Also, I have been borrowing games from a friend from time to time and that won't be accepted either. That's a major turn-off. However, I don't believe Microsoft is the only one doing this. Sony'll follow for sure.
