Just started this today. Wow! The atmosphere is immense! I think there's a little too much gun action (I prefer stealth) but well, after some difficulties adjusting to the camera (it seems that if the y-axis is inverted, it isn't in gun mode and vice-versa or am I wrong?) I'm getting the hang of it. The story is compelling and I just want to know what's going on! Also, this might be the first story-based game I've played on Xbox 360 where there is no story-related achievements besides "Complete the game". That took me by surprise.

And then you feel a bit dizzy. But that's okay. I finally got around to buying the books. They look awesome on my bookshelf. Looking forward to finishing my master thesis so I can begin reading them!

Just got this for 880 MSPoints on the Ultimate Summer Sale on Xbox.

Well. You don't really gain weight from over-eating once in a while; as long as it's only like... once every three months. Sometimes one has to go all out on eating. There's only so many calories the body can take in at a given time. Also, after such an orgy, you tend to be satisfied food-wise and don't eat as much the following couple of days and thereby evening out the calories over time.

That would be awesome. Then it'd probably get Fez II (in eight years' time) as well.

Yeah, I keep seeing the rounded backs at the gym too. It just pains me that people think they are good and lifts >80 kg with backs rounding all the way through. About half of the time I tell them to straighten their backs and the rest of the time I just sigh and go back to lifting heavy things. Also, about DOMS; the best way to avoid too much DOMS is to do some light exercise the day after that doesn't particularly involve the sore muscles but still uses them somehow. The best way to obtain severe DOMS is to just sit back the day after and do nothing.

Since they've announced a 3 and 4, they might wait till then to introduce MJ.

True, that might have been me jumping to a conclusion. Sorry. But the first part is true.
-
Yes. But you do not need to download the entire game before you may start playing it. Just a small portion. Also, it might be run mostly from the cloud (so the friend would require to have a rather good connection, yes).
-
I didn't have a problem with the limiting retail games as the games would potentially be 30 % cheaper than now (and thus 30 % cheaper than on the PS4).
-
Yes, completely gone. All of it. Or well, they might still do cloud-processing but the developers can't be sure that you've got an internet connection any more so they probably won't add it to a lot of games.
-
I'm sad. This is sad. I liked the XBOne; cheaper games, no discs, cloud-processing could become the norm, you could share your games with 10 friends, you could play your games anywhere without having to bring the discs (as long as there is internet of course). These were good features! The only bad thing was the 24h check-in. It could have been 72 hours instead, leaving room for loss of connection, or there should be some way to check in manually without internet. I think the Mattrick-'article' was a geniune good read. It's mostly true. But I know I will not get any of you here to accept that someone actually liked what they heard. I'll still get an XBOne, though.

Presumeably just a part of the game has to be downloades bedre you Can start gaming.

I thought about the name when it was unveiled and I think they just wanted a pun on "ON" so they went with "ONE". I don't get it but it sounds like "ON". Just like Kinect sounds like "connect" and has a reference to "Kinetic". This is just a bit more clever.

Don't think this has been posted; an interview with anonymous Microsoft representative telling the story behind the DRM. Take it with a grain of salt. If games indeed become cheaper on Xbone then that solves part of the problem. The 24 hour check still sucks for many people but not a dealbreaker for me as my internet connection is fast and stable. I see the problem, though, and I think it should be reconsidered; just once a week or something like that would be much, much better.
-
I think MS had the better conference this year. The flow was way better than Sony's and the games seemed better. That said, I won't buy Xbone this year at least. Maybe a year down the line, when everything has been properly explained and thought out (and revised!). I just really like the controller over DualShock and I'd miss my gamerscore; trophies are not the same in some sense. (Yeah, it's stupid.)

So, 10 months to the next episode.

If you're a Gold member, Fable III can be downloaded for free on Marketplace, Games on Demand.
-
That Nintendo allows used games must be the reason that EA has stopped supporting the Wii U. Also, the PS4 will have some DRM not totally unlike XBOne, that's for sure. I think it's bad that I can't buy games cheaply and easily in future but then I'll just buy fewer games. The online once every 24 hours is no problem to me but it seems a bit harsh. I really like the idea that you can play you games on any Xbone-console you are logged on to even without the discs. That is pure genious.

I liked how it ended. Mostly. Now I want to read some Green Arrow. What should I read? I have considered Green Arrow: Year One but is that any good or is there something else / better?

I thought Reggie was CEO of NoA. What is he then?

That's way too much exercise, you need to rest. Strength (and thereby muscle) isn't build from training, it's build from resting between training. Muscle burn calories throughout the day. You need to build some muscle, so resting is really advisable. (And how the fuck can you stand 1 hour of rowing? Short and intense; do 5 min full on, take a rest, then 5 min again. I do about 1300 m when rowing for 5 min so go for something around that; if you can take much more rowing after this, there is something wrong!) Seriously, with an intake of only 1100 kcal I'm amazed that you have energy for exercising that much. As Ramar says, your body needs the energy to build muscle. If it doesn't get enough energy, it will do everything it can in order to hold on to fat (which is good energy to the body) and it will spend less energy trying to build muscle mass (which is what burns calories as I said above). So you can eat as healthily as you can and still gain body fat and loose muscle. I'm not saying that you should run amok on food, just eat more of the same, add some nuts (for protein), (ordinary, medium fat) milk, eggs, and fish (if you allow yourself this as a vegetarian - there seem to be some sort of confusing on this part). Your weight loss won't instantly be as great as 4 pounds in two weeks (which is too much to maintain, you'll gain it again fast, about 1 pound a week is the advice for consistent weight loss) but in the long run, it's better. Also, remember that muscle weighs more than fat so even though the weight stays the same, the composition of the body may have changed.

Don't know if you've seen this but I found it funny: I've been on a media black out for this movie. The first trailers looked awesome.

He really likes hanging on walls getting caught on camera.

It doesn't matter when one eats. You could eat your entire daily ration in one sitting and still not gain weight. It only matters what you eat. There are other reasons as to not eating before bedtime, and it's 'better' to eat unhealthily in the morning or early in the day as you can then actively do something against those extra calories. But weight loss wise, it does not matter if you go to bed right after supper as long as your total calorie income is less than your expense. http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1896439_1896359_1896345,00.html That said, calorie counting is so 2011... It normally (until you are not hungry anymore and 6 times a day, three of those six are major meals), healthily, exercise varied both with and without weights.
