I didn't have a great year last year, but I quietly set myself a couple of goals and I'm glad that I achieved them I bought a motorbike and got my full license, only just finishing it before the year was up by scoring a pass with zero minors mid-December. I also got out of the house more, agreed to do things, started the whole tinder thing and gave dating another shot. I know that I'm still, over a year later, not fully right in the head after my fiancée left - I lost some friends and all her family when she did and that's left a huge hole in my life, but I'm starting to fill it up again. I've been to look at houses to buy, I've got a great credit rating so I can afford a deposit. I lost 1.5-2 stone by improving my eating and working out. This year's resolutions, they're not just pipe-dreams, I know I'll do them Buy a decent house where a motorbike can live Buy a Triumph Street Triple Get a pay rise Show work that I can take on a managerial role Go on more dates Say yes to anything my friends ask me to go to, as long as I can afford it Travel around the UK in the Summer by bike Plan for a Europe trip in 2017 Put the weight back on that I lost last year, and then some, but good weight this time No more depression!

I'm not sure how else to find out. To get an accurate estimation they want you to call them and give them a phone number, but since it's empty and for sale I can't really provide that :/ Every site you check seems to throw up the same number though, "up to 6MB". It's crazy because we're talking about a big city, not that far out of the centre. All the time I've lived here I've had available the best broadband speeds possible - but now that I want to buy suddenly everywhere I look seems to be in a zone of internet neglect.

I do download games, but I'm thinking download times aren't that big a deal. They seem like it at the time, but once you've got the game or whatever, it doesn't really matter how long it took to download. If I have to wait a day for a download every month or so, I can put up with that. Basically in the short term as long as it doesn't ruin Netflix and Destiny... I might still go for it.

I'm interested in a house for sale, but the area doesn't get fibre. After years of having 20MB broadband, then moving up to fibre optic which I'm currently getting 150MB on... I'm not sure if I could manage dropping back to what is basically "up to 6MB". I could probably just about grin and bear the hugely reduced download speeds as I don't do that much downloading anymore. However, I'm wondering if anyone has experience modern gaming online, PC or console, at speeds like 6MB. I remember playing Counterstrike on dial up in the past, but games and the internet have changed a lot since then. Streaming Netflix and similar in HD would be a must, too. So, what's your internet connection like? I'd like to hear some experience. The house ticks so many other boxes, this is a huge downer to suddenly discover.

I found the most difficult part of transferring not the removal or installation of the drive but the fact that basically none of my games would copy back across from the temporary storage I used in between. So I had to redownload them all. Save games backed up and moved over fine. Bear in mind once you back up game footage and screenshots to USB, you're converting them from RAWs and can't put them back again (but can put them on a PC). Don't damage the external drive because you can put your 500GB drive back in, format it and then you have a 500GB USB3 drive spare

That Samsung drive is literally the drive that's in those Seagate externals :p so you paid £30 to save you the effort of prying open some plastic....

That's not the exact model I bought so I wouldn't like to say for certain. But yeah that's the gist of it.

I would get in on the raid more, no sense in using up 310 light on gear if you're going to get 310+ gear from HM. On the other hand, eventually you might want to swap out your raid gear for something else, like IB or Trials gear, just because the perks are better or you prefer the aesthetic, and those 310s will work well for bridging the gap.

Great choices @CoolFunkMan - I absolutely love that Chvrches album, still putting it on pretty frequently, I don't think it has a single bad track.

I guess we are not getting a sixth player, don't really fancy dealing with a PuG member when we have to do multiple runs on one boss. Ah well, maybe best to wait til after Christmas
