Don't get me wrong, I don't have an issue with anyone just because they clicked a button, that would be even more petty/cynical than I'm usually prone to being. My only point is that it's kinda strange Facebook made this automated, one-click process that gives some people a way to say "look, I care!". That's not to say the majority represents that stance or that I see it in the people around me, it's just a bitter taste in my mouth, a weird tie in between the flimsy, detached space of social media and the reality of "the world". You're right though, spiraling into a meta debate that starts to sound dangerously like who cares the most? is only compounding the issue. I wouldn't hold it against you or any one of my Facebook friends who donned the tricolore, it's your choice, your reasons.

Graphics?? It had practical effects/prosthetics! It's a horror/thriller... so why would it have a lot of explosions. I can only assume you're trying to wind me up by saying "graphics" :p

We absolutely decimated every other boss on Wednesday (all bosses in one attempt IIRC?) and we were having some connection issues by the time we got to Oryx (and it was Milagi's first go on HM so there were a few steps to learn). This time we should have no trouble. IB Clash with randoms can fuck right off. Enjoyed it on Tues, really annoying yesterday. Much better with a team and a bit of co-ordination.

Ah well we couldn't finish off Oryx on Weds so arranged to complete it today. One of the reasons I didn't really get into VC is that the first few missions were kinda dull... tutorial... fight enemies... tutorial... run from enemies... tutorial... OP hax tank. It never looked anything like those screenshots above. If I knew Kirito from SAO was going to show up with his trenchcoat and sword I might've kept playing!

I'm still free this evening to finish off Oryx, but if you guys have already arranged Trials for tonight, I can also do Sunday or Monday.

It's quite difficult to say if you don't tell us which one you're up to :p just watched the latest available on CW yesterday, episode 7.

Flash is still super entertaining, even if things make me groan from time to time (I liked Harry's perfect circle drawing abilities in this ep), it doesn't matter. They don't dwell on anything too long or drag things out the way Smallville used to do. And it doesn't have any of the overbearing faux-drama of Arrow. Just sheer comic-book fun Theories on Zoom's identity?

PS2 belonged to my ex and is gone now :/ I did beat Persona and Persona 2: IS though Glacial pacing... does not appeal... unless the story and characters are good enough. Could do with a... PC "demo"... Just remembered I also bought Stein's Gate when it came out and never played it :x

Just your mention of traditional JRPGs, I was thinking about picking it up as something to get lost in for a bit but I've not read many first-hand opinions.

It's okay, it's a bit more difficult when you get a bad team because they're even less likely to group up without an objective. I'm kinda surprised they didn't go with Rift.

So it appears that Iron Banner's rank 5 packages can drop some very nice items, including ghosts and class items up to 320, Nirwen's Mercy and other items not previously available from Saladin. Of course YMMV (a lot) but it should be worth a shot.

I'll be very interested to see what it sells worldwide in the first four weeks. I hope M$ gave them a lot of dosh for that deal, or we're even less likely to see another installment.

I got this when it came to PC, but since I never play PC I didn't give it much of a shot. Might jump in again on PS4 if the price is right. I found it a bit cumbersome to start with though. I'd much prefer a XCOM 2 to be coming to PS4

Might see a sales bump at Christmas. Releasing the game alongside Fallout and just before Christmas means a lot of people will hold off. Squeenix should've had a clause in their exclusivity agreement that the game has to sell x within a month :p

Can't be any thicker than 9.5mm I took the drive out of one of these http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2489935.htm At the time this was the only 2TB solution (might still be the case). Although the product is Seagate, the drive is a Samsung IIRC. Slightly fiddly but then you're left with a 500GB USB 3 external drive if you pop the original drive into the casing afterwards. I had a bit of fuss copying back game files, ended up having to redownload them, no idea if that was the drive's fault or the PS4. Saves were fine in the cloud though. One thing to note that I didn't realise is that once you copy all captured video and screenshots to a drive, you can't copy it back to the new drive, that stuff is a one-way process. Things might've changed a bit in a recent update, not sure how up-to-date those last two points are. Finally, the drive very occasionally makes an odd noise but it's never caused an issue.

Thanks man. After struggling a lot I think a combination of sobriety and an earlier start helped! Got the handcannon. Which is so, so bad. For fun I decided to try using it on some post-9 trials matches, it couldn't hit a guy at all despite my aim being dead on the guy's head. The distance was roughly from the hanging platform on Firebase Delphi to the C heavy ammo. Absolutely shocking what they've done to handcannons. I got a couple of kills with it but I definitely let the team down just for trying it out. It was 317 atk though. Think it'll go straight into my pulse rifle. On the second visit I nabbed the scout rifle, also 317, but not had a play with it yet.

I'm tempted to get the Xbox 360 version, it's cheaper and is being praised as a really great port.

If you lift it, you count it :p My bar only weighs 8.8 kg for some reason so I added fractionals to make it 10kg. One of the best things about switching up to an olly would be that clear cut 20kg starting point.
