Watched s1 of this when it was first released Loved it, but never started s2 for whatever reason. As a result, forgotten a lot of what has happened other than the main revelations so I’ve started again. It is more fun to watch knowing who will become who etc. Should hopefully wrap up the entire series in a week or so.

Man, this game is long. Got to what I thought was the end only to have a shit load more to do. Was a bit exhausted by the end, it definitely suffers with pacing problems in its latter half. Anyway, the credits finally rolled and I loved it for the most part. I’ll probably try new game plus to mop up the rest of the trophies, perhaps earn my very first platinum seeing as there are no difficulty related ones (I tend to struggle on anything above Normal mode) Overall I enjoyed it. 9/10 for me.

Loving this game. Don’t have a problem with the story so far (currently on Day 3) and I don’t mind the brutality. I actually want to kill all of these fuckers and their bastard in the most brutal way. Fuck them.

Been watching The Last Ride on the WWE Network. Been great, especially seeing all the backstage stuff and outtakes of Undertaker promos from the early 90s. Had a feeling it would lead up to this, but Mark Calaway has announced his retirement on the latest and final episode. Absolute legend. One of the all time greats. Wish him nothing but happiness in life after the ring.

I really hope that the AI is better in this game. Been playing the first again and it’s a lot worse than I remember. And I remember it being pretty bad.

I loved Colour Splash. Thought the environments were brilliant, similar to the variety in TTYD. But if Things make a return in this new game, I won’t be pleased.

I’ve opened up my island for an hour or so. Haven’t done any online yet, and my island isn’t great yet haha. Turnips are 99 bells here. Code is BQDGF. One thing I can’t get used to is not using the punch button to pick stuff up. Not easy to undo 29 years of training.

Had a bad cough and felt a bit spaced out these past couple of days so I went to have a test today as I’m classed as an essential worker. Test centre (at Haydock race course) was well organised and it only took 15 minutes or so to get in and out. The swab is a little uncomfortable but nothing too bad. They said I should get my results in 72 hours. I don’t think that I’ve got it, but just did this to be certain so that I can go back to work. Thing is, the test could come back negative and I could catch it and spread it on my first day back in. Until they develop some kind of antibody test or a proper vaccine, I can see these measures being in place for at least another year, possibly longer. Testing is great, but unless it’s done frequently, then what’s the point?

Supposed to be on Game Pass but not seeing it yet. Oh well, will check again this afternoon

Currently watching The Knick starring Clive Owen as a turn of the 20th century surgeon in a New York hospital exploring the advent of modern medicine. Wonderful stuff, just a shame it was cancelled after 2 seasons.

Actual release date is 30th April. New Battle Mode announced.

Reading a lot on Twitter that says this is coming to Game Pass day one as well which is excellent news if true. I think I’ll still buy it for Switch as it makes local four player a lot easier and use the Xbox version to play online.

Excellent stuff. Not sure how the SoR1 sprites will translate into the new game, what with the limited move set and that. Unless they’ve added animations to them. Looking damn good, shame they won’t confirm the release date though.
