Just finished watching the first (and only thus far) season of Wayne. Not heard of it before, but it was a YouTube show before it got picked up by Amazon. Am hoping they produce more of this. It’s basically about a teenage kid who goes in search of his dying dad’s Trans Am. Ridiculously over the top and violent, but I believe it was done by the writers of Deadpool so that’s to be expected I suppose. Also, found out there’s a new season of Mr Inbetween out now, so I’ll be “acquiring” that soon enough.

Had a bit more done today. Really pleased with how the Broken Vessel came out particularly. I don’t want too much colour everywhere, but the odd bits here and there really make it stand out. Got another appointment at the end of the month, obviously going to finish the Mantis Lords and hopefully complete the rest of my forearm and we’ll be hopefully halfway done.

Started my Hollow Knight sleeve today. Will post more in the coming months as it progresses.

Yes. Though there is a small link between all the seasons and the film in some form or another.

Started s4 of Fargo. Damn I’ve missed this show. It’s great to see two actors from two acclaimed Italian shows (Gomorrah and Suburra Blood on Rome) make English speaking appearances too.

I love Frasier but the last couple of seasons weren’t as good. I’ve got a feeling this will suck balls but time will tell. https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-56191980

Conrad Thompson now has Kurt Angle on his podcast. Very interesting listen. He talks about that moment at Wrestlemania 19 with Brock as well as his signing with the WWF after the Olympics and his appearance at the controversial ECW event with the crucifixion. WWF offered him a 10 year $5m dollar deal in 1996 but he turned it down. He ended up having to try out 2 years later but on a developmental deal worth 10 times less. https://open.spotify.com/show/5lcBcZbI1JO3BASz163jjh?si=Odh16HDjS827i27lZ7sP1A As I’ve mentioned before, the Eric Bischoff podcast is also a must listen for anyone interested in that period of history.

If you are watching it on Amazon Prime, I find it useful to tap the screen/hit pause if you are watching on a TV and check out the X Ray feature which shows IMDb info about each cast member helping you remember who is who.

You’ve just reminded me I haven’t watched the new season yet. Made a start yesterday, realised I’ve forgotten most of what happened in s4 Looks awesome. Only read maybe the first 30 issues of this but I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Are there even any Wii U games left to port? -

Silksong release date and I’m happy. Silksong shadow drop and I jizz. -
So...Little Nightmares II is getting mostly positive reviews. Anyone picking it up tomorrow?

Blitzed my way through both seasons of Succession these past few weeks. Fantastic stuff. Fans of Mad Men and Halt and Catch Fire should love this.

The problem with social media is that it affords everyone a platform to broadcast their mostly ill educated views and it inevitably degenerates into either a slanging match or a pissing contest. And it started off as such a nice idea too. I agree, get rid of it all.

Does anyone have issues with their Series X disconnecting from WiFi? It’s really strange, I can play alone for hours and it might not do it at all, but even if I try to play something simple with a friend like Peggle 2, it completely disconnects and I have to restart my console. It can do it a few times in half an hour or sometimes it can be fine. It’s really annoying. A wired connection is fine but it’s not ideal.

The roguelike stuff is what puts me off Hades. Despite the adulation it has received. Got burned with Dead Cells - played it for a few hours and gave up. I hate starting again when you die. The lure of better gear/stats is not enough reward for me to keep playing.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned on here, but the 83 Weeks podcast with Conrad Thompson (Ric Flair’s son in law) interviewing Eric Bischoff is absolutely superb. Bischoff responds to all criticism in a mostly measured and articulate manner. He completely shits on that Death of WCW book that I know has been mentioned on here and I’m more inclined to believe his take on what happened - you can dissect the “Fingerpoke of Doom” as much as you want, but what truly seemed to kill WCW was simply that Time Warner didn’t want wrestling on their network after the merger. Most of the dirt sheets of the time were mostly based on rumour and conjecture, with few sources actually named, and that is mentioned plenty of times by Bischoff, but he also does not shirk away from the mistakes he made. Well worth a listen. Especially the episode where he makes RD Reynolds (Death of WCW author) backpedal like crazy. The podcast goes into detail on many subjects, including the formation of the nWo and the Monday Night Wars, the failed purchase of WCW before Vince got it, Bret Hart, Sting, Bischoff in WWE and loads more.

Bought a Quest 2 the other day. Having a blast with Walking Dead Saints and Sinners. I really wish Oculus had a Game Pass style subscription. I’d sign up straight away.

We have an Xbox each at our house. My missus’ One S in the living room and my base Xbox One in my gaming room. The shambolic performance of Cyberpunk on my Xbox has hastened my decision to buy next gen as I would’ve been fine waiting till 2022 or so. The plan was to get a Series S for the living room (as space is an issue on the TV bench and my missus doesn’t really play any massively graphically intensive games) and a Series X for me. Managed to find a Series S in stock so should get that tomorrow so looking forward to trying it out. It’s a shame about the hard drive space but I can still run Xbox One and 360 games from a cheap external drive and maybe buy the Seagate thing in a year or two for future Series S games. It’s also a shame that I have the physical version of Cyberpunk so I’ll have to wait for my Series X to try it out

Is it utterly fucking miserable like all of Pixar's films recently? Pretty much, yeah

Soul was enjoyable. Certainly one of the better Pixar outings in recent years.

Was looking at this for a birthday present for my missus. Cheers for that.

I picked up Bug Fables and Hat in Time

Predominantly a platformer with a gravity based gameplay hook (as you can see from the way the screen spins around) with a great story. Occasionally, you settle down to play a video game with one of the human NPCs, hence the different genres of gameplay in that trailer. To be honest, they’re the weaker parts of the game but the platforming is sublime.
