I think I may pick up Pode. Looks like a fun one to play with the missus. Wasn’t gonna pay £23 for it at full price though.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4/Xbox One - 26 October 2018)

Not sure how it works on PS4, but on Xbox, you log in to the other Xbox with both accounts and you set up sharing. Can’t remember exactly how to do it but there are guides online. I suppose technically, you could share with a trusted friend (as it means giving them your password) and not just another console in your household. -
I fired up Super Mario Sunshine the other day. After the glorious controls of Odyssey, this has not aged well at all. Not being able to long jump is killing me. Also put Paper Mario TTYD on. Only played through the prologue but it brought some fantastic memories back. Gonna blast through it again when I get the time. Only downside is, I don’t have my GameCube anymore had to play them on Wii which is a bit of a ball ache. May have to get on eBay.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4/Xbox One - 26 October 2018)

Yes, as others have mentioned, we share accounts on Xbox. We have two xboxes in different rooms, so if we were to both play together online at the same time, we can do it without needing two discs. I had to buy another copy of GTAV for us to both play that online, which was expensive, so decided to go digital this time. And HDD space isn’t an issue as others have said, you need to have it installed anyway, disc or not. If not for the two xboxes, I’d have probably gone physical just to save a tenner, but doing it this way I’ve saved £40. -

I’ve bought the digital version on the Xbox store. Cost £60 as opposed to £50 for the physical copy. But it means I can play it with the missus when the online eventually launches without having to buy another copy. And it’ll be nice to have it permanently installed without having to switch discs to play an indie game or whatever. I can’t imagine ever trading this game in, so digital was the way to go for me. It was an 88gb download. Took overnight to do it, now currently in the process of copying it onto a hdd to transfer it onto the other Xbox. -
The sequel later this year too. Fantastic!

This seems to be getting solid reviews so far. Lots of 8s and 9s, being heralded as a return to form for the series. There’s a deal on the bundle at Base. £89 for the game and a pair of Neon Pink/Green joycons. It doesn’t release till late November for some reason but I’ve ordered one as my near 4 year old daughter loves everything pink and will certainly want to use that joycon. She won’t be able to master a few of the minigames but I’m sure it’ll be a blast all the same and it’ll only get more fun as she gets older.

I knew all along...

Sorry guys. Couldn’t resist. Saw it on Twitter and was nearly fooled myself I did put a little emoji in a spoiler tag though. I will now leave the forum in shame.

Enjoyed watching The Expanse. They only have the first two series on Netflix. I’ve had to start s3 by using other means. Ahem. I heard it was cancelled and renewed for s4 by Amazon so I’m surprised it hasn’t appeared on Prime yet.

Hope this is real.

In other Sega news, Streets of Rage 4 has been announced. No platform or release date but I’m praying this is the real deal.

I think there’s supposed to be story DLC coming out eventually. Think you play as Hornet though.

I ended up picking this up on Xbox. I played the first on Switch with the missus, but we’ve got friends down south we like playing with. They’ve got a Switch too but the lack of voice chat is a problem. Plus the controller is better as it’s easier than using joy cons (we’ve only got one Pro Controller)

It’s crazy. All indie games especially should have a demo. You want as many people as possible trying your game and surely you’d get more sales.
-
Ah thanks. I was looking on the website rather than the eShop itself.

Apparently, Iconoclasts releases on Switch tomorrow. Got good reviews on PC so I’ll probably pick this up depending on price. But I don’t see it available for preorder on eShop. I’ll have another look tomorrow.

I didn’t mind that bit. It’s only difficult because the big bees take off two of your health.

Has anyone managed to do the White Palace yet? I have, but I can’t seem to get back in properly as there are white barriers covering the way I want to go. Heard there is another area in there to explore.

Just had a genuine laugh out loud moment.

Thumbs are actually sore from playing this so much in the last few days. It’s frustrating, but as Ronnie said, it’s very special indeed. And there’s so much to do. For 11 quid, this is the bargain of the year no question.

I nearly missed this as I usually turn off once the credits roll. Have all episodes had a post credits scene or just the finale?

If it doesn’t have the racial stereotype crows, I won’t be watching it.
