I’m finding this season to be a bit of a mess compared to the first.

Quite fancy the look of Pode. But I’m not paying £22.49 for it.

I thought the guy with the shaven head and beard was JD. It said Fenix on his armour anyway.

Doesn’t seem to have the “of War” in the title anymore. Trailer seemed a bit spoilery. Just hope they’ve got rid of those awful loot boxes from 4.

So this just shadow dropped today. I adored the first one, despite some occasionally wonky platforming so will pick this up soon. It has co-op this time as well. Criminal that it isn’t on Switch though...

Any tips on how to read where a zone shot is going to go? I’ve only played against the computer so far but every single time they hit one, it always seems to be miles away from me and I don’t have any time to react.

I know I created a thread for this a while back, but not many people posted in it. Just watched the series finale of The Americans. What a show, quite rightly lauded as the last show from the “Golden Age” of TV, where character dramas such as Mad Men and The Sopranos were king, rather than the more sci-fi and fantasy stuff like GoT, Westworld and Stranger Things (still great shows by the way) The finale was gut wrenching, and done in a style befitting of how the show was handled during its six seasons, rather than the way a lot of fans expected it to go. If you haven’t seen this yet, I implore you to give it a watch. If you like more serious, grounded dramas, you’ll enjoy this. Great soundtrack too. First five seasons are on Prime.

I concur. Only played a couple of hours so far. Easy to get lost, occasionally frustrating to get out of certain areas but bursting with charm and can honestly say I’ve not played anything quite like it.

Last one I played was Fallout 4. How long have I been asleep??

Anyone watched Cobra Kai? First two episodes free on YouTube. It’s superb, a real blast of nostalgia and fun to see a slight flip in the protagonist and antagonist from the first film.

I love Flight of the Conchords, so this is my favourite villain song. Even though I’ve heard it hundreds of times due to my 3 year old knowing how to ask Alexa for it 😩

There’s no Switch logo on that release date is there. Looks good, was looking at this a while back. But the procedurally generated worlds are a big turn off for me.

Ok, now most of the way in. Fuck, this is tremendous. Definitely the best tv show I’ve watched in years. J.K. Simmons is totally captivating as both versions of Howard. Story is fantastic as well, though I wasn’t sure how... Unless I’m just missing something or it’s yet to be explained. Otherwise, a fine bit of tv that I’d recommend to anyone.

Highly recommend Suburra: Blood on Rome. Italian crime drama, warring factions, corrupt politicians, the Vatican, the mafia. Very gripping stuff. Just make sure to put the language to Italian with subtitles as the dubbing is very off putting.

Urgh. Can’t get on with Wonder Boy at all. I know it’s old school and all but the gameplay has aged terribly. I never actually played this one back in the day but I loved Wonder Boy in Monster World on the Mega Drive. Glad I didn’t pay full price for it.

Watched the first couple of episodes of Counterpart. Seems good. Will continue...

Yeah, that pretty much sums up my feelings toward the game. You also don’t mention the lack of a world map, which for a game like this is unforgivable. Biggest disappointment of 2018 so far for me. I’m glad Team Cherry are putting extra time into Hollow Knight so it doesn’t turn out a buggy mess like this one.

I keep thinking of picking up Blossom Tales but I hear it’s a bit padded out with copied and pasted puzzles and questionable level design. It looks good from the trailers though but I may wait till VC launches and the inevitable LttP port to scratch this particular itch.

Still unable to give even a vague release date for Hollow Knight http://teamcherry.com.au/lifeblood-update/ I’m sure they said the same thing a while back. Cool about the added content though.
