Mokong Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Normally I would do this the first weekend of December, which is next week, but I'm workin next weekend so my mother asked me if i could do it this weekend since i'm not working. So after i took the tree out of the atic (artifical tree) and moved the coffee table in teh sitting, of course my camera as always is sitting on said table. Of course the natural conclusion is to make a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHUaHTSsXRs Early Merry Christmas

Sarka Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 We put our up on the weekend closest to the 15th... I hate the limited period of Christmasness at my house. Do you not use tinsel?
Cube Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 The girls in the flat upstairs already have theirs up. With a picture of me on top...
Happenstance Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Yeah we tend to go buy a tree around the 15th aswell, just wish our house used a bit more decorations. We only have the tree so any other room apart from the living room just looks normal at christmas.
Sparko Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 We got a new tree this year, finally. We had the same artificial one for well over ten years, it was starting to fall apart. I can't wait to put all the decorations up, I love Christmas
demonmike04 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Xmas comes early for those with cool voices..
Charlie Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 We put our up on the weekend closest to the 15th... I hate the limited period of Christmasness at my house. Do you not use tinsel? We put ours up that weekend too, but always have our wreath up ready for the first Sunday in Advent (next Sunday).
DanielTimothy Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I'd love to plaster my house in as many lights as I could, but the rest of my family think its tacky. Everything will probably go up next weekend, although I'm not as excited as usuall as I still have corsework to finish. Meh.
The3rdChildren Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I'm more excited about the 8th than Christmas to be honest.
Kurtle Squad Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 My birthday is on the 15th Unlucky!! I dunno when our tree's going up, and to be honest, I don't care since my Dad does it I'll be playing my Wii & working, and I wont even be seeing to tree on Xmas day anyway
Guest Stefkov Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Last year we nearly didnt put the tree up. So i went intothe attic and took it down and put it up. This year i think we'll probably put it up near Christmas. But we leave our tree up into January, nearly half way through as we lucky Uki's have Christmas on the 7th of Jan. And before you ask, i dont get 2 sets of presents, however other people do as they are spoilt aresholes.
Charlie Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 You can control this dudes Christmas lights via a website, you can also inflate/deflate stuff too. You can only do it at a certain time of the day though... http://www.komar.org/cgi-bin/christmas_webcam (The pause button for the music is at the top left)
Blackfox Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 he girl in the room next to me tried to, and we hid all the decoration's until we see fit. Its still November, flash back 2006 years agoo.. The Wise Men hadn't even set off yet..
Stocka Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Mine's going up next weekend. I usually don't think about Christmas too much until December 1st, that's when Christmas starts really. I'm more excited about the 8th than Christmas to be honest. Me too, Wii day is going to be like Christmas day

The Wise Men hadn't even set off yet.. Except Jesus was born in the middle of summer, according things said in the Bible. And the "star" was just Jupiter and Saturn passing close to each other. Was seen in the sky for a few years around that time.
Colin Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Mine's going up next weekend. I usually don't think about Christmas too much until December 1st, that's when Christmas starts really. Me too, Wii day is going to be like Christmas day Wii day is half of Christmas for me. Getting the console and Zelda, but then giving Zelda to my parents so it can be given to me on Xmas day. Atleast I get the console and Wii Sports to play for that weekend. I'm at uni currently, so I don't know when our tree is going up at home. I wouldn't mind decorating our uni halls and stuff..............then have a Christmas party or something. Hmmmmm.........
Shorty Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I wonder if we'll have a tree at our flat in uni o_O it would probably get knocked over by drunkards... nah think I'll wait til I go home my parents usually only get a tree within a week of Christmas itself. It's my birthday before Chrimbo anyway so that has priority in my mind :p
Kurtle Squad Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Yeah....I'm not looking forwad to Christmas...I'm looking forward to Wii day and 22nd/23rd Dec, when I start living with my gf for Xmas
Platty Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Haha although its a bit early to put up your tree i loved the video! Good work franky boy
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Its a month till christmas, you... heretic! Our tradition is to decorate the tree on the 23rd. But then we eat dinner and open presents on the 24th. Thats the way it should be.

We stay up late on the 24th and open our presents once midnight passes, so technically it is Christmas day
