Actually, it's worth about 29 if you check play.com or Dyson's thread in the Private Trades board. Anyway, yes it is.

I know about Play. I also know about that Royksopp CD they never sent me. May as well get it from town anyway, probably won't get it until Wednesday otherwise.

2 things from Play got lost in the post. They just sent me another after 14 days.

I think Nintendo underestimate themselves, their abilities and their fans at times.

 

Look back over the launch. We all thought "nah, there will be enough Wii units for all."

 

Well, there blatantly wasn't. For some people, they had to wait months before they could even touch one. It's the same with this. They didn't expect the idea of the Wii to truely take off in the fashion that they did, and now they've also underestimated that gamers do want online gaming, even in titles like Strikers.

I think it's kinda cute that they under-estimate themselves though...

 

Actually, it's their awful views of what Europeans like etc..they always get it wrong!

 

Perhaps Nintendo will start changing towards Europe now, as hopefully their starting to realise that their extremely popular here at the mo!

 

I'm always hearing people talking about the Wii.

 

I couldn't get online either. I had about 3 different error messages each time i tried.

Well i'm really starting to hang the of this game i think, I finished the group stage of the crystal cup in 1st, only lost twice, and had some great matches go to sudden death which took about 5 mins before a goal was scored, nail bitting stuff.

 

Though i lost in the 1st round of the knockout stages, but it was on sudden death so not so bad.... i'll get it next time.

 

Oh yeah and i thought i should try online again, but like most of ye, i'm getting that damned 983020 error message (anyone look it up to see what it means?),

 

Is there a way to check your friend code off-line and register friend codes off-line also?

I think the 3rd game should have 'Country' teams.

 

Y'know:

Mushroom Kingdom

Koopa Kingdom

Bean Bean Kingdom

Isle Delphino

Diamond City

Team Wart

Team Kremling

Team DK

 

With anyone (from that country/area) being on the selectable squad for their team (but still having the Captain & superstrike dynamic, it's just whoever you want can be captain). And each Team has certain cahracters with certain abilities (like Charged does)

e.g.

Mushroom Kingdom:

Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Toadette, Toadsworth

Koopa Kingdom:

Bowser, Jr., Koopa, Goomba etc etc

Team Wart:

Wart, Birdo, Shyguy

 

Though I guess all that could make it a lil complicated.

Wohooo...Online is working again, just played my 2nd ever match.... can't remember who it was but it was a great match, first game I was down 2 - 1 but came back in to take the lead with 30sec left, then made it 4 - 2 at the last second, then second game i was alway behind by a goal, but came back to win 5 -4 in sudden death

Is online working now? i asked my mums bf to buy me the game this weekend while im at my dads, would love to play some of you guys when i get home :D

 

first gotta move my Wii upstairs ¬_¬
