spirited away Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 It usually takes an entire year to get one episode of an animated show produced, or so I heard on a Family Guy commentary. Perhaps I'm wrong, but 2008 seems feasible. They just produce a load of episodes at once. Half a year for each episode of simpsons and Millions of pounds. Watch Family Guy, much funnier.
Happenstance Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Looks like according to a Simpsons Panel at SDCC 07 have announced that 60 new Futurama episodes are being made: http://uk.tv.ign.com/articles/808/808965p1.html
Hero-of-Time Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Amazing news. Hopefully Brannigan will be in most of them.
Tellyn Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Hopefully Sky One have the rights to Futurama yoinked off them and given to the BBC or something.
Slaggis Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Amazing news. Hopefully Brannigan will be in most of them. He rocks, though I love Amy, especially the tension between her and Leela. When she makes those bitchy comments about her, cracks me up everytime.
Bluejay Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Epic Win. Biggest victory ever. How many seasons is 60 episodes, 3? This is for TV right, not just DVD?

Happenstance Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Well thats just a bunch of bollocks then, it originally said 60!
Ashley Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 All the reports I saw 16, you people were the only ones I heard talk about 60.
gaggle64 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Either somebody misheard or it was typo. It's 16 episodes.
Slaggis Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Either somebody misheard or it was typo. It's 16 episodes. It was a typo, IGN most certainly said 60 eps.

Happenstance Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Either somebody misheard or it was typo. It's 16 episodes. Yeah it was definately a typo in the original article, the Editor actually apologises at the bottom in the comments section for it.
AshMat Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Brannigan is such an awesome character, obviously he's a dick, but he's awesome.
gaggle64 Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 "I have mated with a female. Inform the men." I also hope Nixon makes a return. "I didn't live a thousand years and fly a gajillion miles just to stare at another man's gizmo!"
Ashley Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Plot for first film According to HMM, the plot for the first film will go like this: "Alien nudist Internet scammers attempt to take over Earth through a plot that involves sending the robot Bender through time to steal the planet's cultural treasures."
