SpinesN Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Yes, but that tv isn't built into the console, it's an extra. Are you trying to say the xbox is portable? Actually I was trying to imply that you were saying the xbox was portable :p Whatever, I will go to my grave saying the virtual boy was not a portable console due to the sit down and play nature of the system as opposed to the move around and play ability of a gba/ds/psp/gp2x/etc...
Cube Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Lets just say that the Virtual Boy is no a portable or home console, but an odd console. And lets get back to Wii.
AshMat Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Actually I was trying to imply that you were saying the xbox was portable :p How the hell was i saying that?
SpinesN Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 You weren't. I just took what you said about the virtual boy being able to be moved around and played with it's own screen and applied it to the xbox. Humor my friend
Yoshiking Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Lets just say that the Virtual Boy is no a portable or home console, but an odd console. And lets get back to Wii. *cough* (stupid 10 character limit.. Why don't quotes count?)
Kurtle Squad Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 IGN has open Wii Launch Guide. According to that, all the shoulder buttons are digital unlike the amazingly cool GC ones. Proven by the fact Sony stole the click.
Guest Stefkov Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 What does that mean only uses digital input? Is that a bad thing?
Ashley Posted October 25, 2006 Author Posted October 25, 2006 Im no expert but I think digital means it is either "on" or "off" (for lack of a better term), whereas analogue means there can be varying degrees. Think of television. Digital TV in bad weather goes off, but analogue TV goes fuzzy and stuff.
raven_blade2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 What about support for usb storage devices? There is still no definite confirmation on the subject of that. Hopefully IGN will get a final retail Wii console soon so they can see for themselves.
Coolit Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Just read about this on another forum, Nintendo have confirmed that component cables unlike the US will be sold in local retail outlets in the UK and that games will be 480p enabled Source: Eurogamer As I've not made 15 posts yet I cant post url's, please see "Now Playing" for the article link

Analogue are wavy whle digital is like on off i remmeber now. Well that neither good or bad is it? how is it bad? oh i understand, like the ps2 pressure sensitive buttons...? i get it. Will be getting one of those component cables. Should look very nice on my Samsung. I've seen gameplay already selling it on their website though. Might get it with my Wii at GAME though when i get it.

Shino Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Don't be silly, the "souped up" xbox can't do that kind of physics.
Cube Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Don't be silly, the "souped up" xbox can't do that kind of physics. However, It can provide an awesome selection of liquid/solid mixes best used as starters for meals.
Goron_3 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Don't be silly, the "souped up" xbox can't do that kind of physics. Please say it can atleast do massive damage...please
