Eddage Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Currently flying through Sega Superstars tennis. If anyone wants a weirdly controlled, easy points game... Here's one to get. Hit 65% last night. I got it through LoveFilm yesterday, just completed the superstar mode, can't be bothered trying to get the rest of the achievements though, 500 odd will do nicely! Was a pretty fun game, but nothing special, certainly glad I didn't buy it! Got it on PS3 and found it one of the most frustrating games I've ever played. It just seems random. Controls, CPU performance, score. Random. I never found this, sure some of the matches were harder but the only match I actually lost was the final of the tournament in the Alex Kidd stage, and then I just retried it and did it straight away.
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 ...Its moments like these just prompt me to say ENGLAND!! (or to a lesser extent ... 'Britain')
Dyson Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Oh right, it's my Xbox 360, sorry Just realised it doesn't say that anywhere.
Ganepark32 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Yeh, it's being shipped back to you. Although, why in the hell is it in Nurnberg? They're supposed to get shipped to Frankfurt and that's where Microsoft fixes them. Haven't heard anything about any Nurnberg factories. Strange one that.
Shorty Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 When did you send it off? Doesn't look like it's on its way back yet to me (look at the dates) took me about 10-12 days
Dyson Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 It was picked up from me on the 22nd of January. That's why I'm confused, it has no reason to be returned to me yet. I'm just not sure if it's being 'returned' to me or the repair centre.
Ganepark32 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Well if it's being returned to Frankfurt, which by the looks of it it is, then it's going back to the repair centre which is why I'm confused as to why it'd be sent to Nurnberg when the repair centre is in Frankfurt. Doesn't really make sense.
Shorty Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Don't worry about it, I remember seeing plent of silly things come up on my UPS tracking list. The only time it matters is when it says it's back in England, until then checking and worrying about it isn't going to make it come any quicker.
jayseven Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 It doesn't say it's being returned to frankfurt - it's in frankfurt when the status is "return to sender", then the next location (posited above that entry on the list) is a "departing scan" as the package leaves Frankfurt, then there's an "arrival scan" as it gets to Nurnberg. Perhaps that's where the xboxes go after they've been serviced in order to be transported back to you via plane/truck/carrier pigeon.
Ellmeister Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Next year me and the housemates are all planning on purchasing the whole guitar hero instruments Will be sweeeeeeeeeeet.
Bren Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Bought Rockband 2 last night, lent Rockband 1 off me mate, how do i steal his songs? Is ther something i hav to buy or what? Still not sure which i prefer out the 2, Guitar Hero's customisation batters rockband by far, and apart from that they seem pretty the same, though i havent ventured into the online section yet, Still id recommend both to anyone
BeerMonkey Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 you can take the songs off RB1 and chuck them on rb2 by going to options and selecting import songs costs 400 points i beleive
MATtheHAT Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Just bought myself a 360 I was looking into the back catalogue of games and you can get some very cheap second hand ones off eBay. So I bought Perfect Dark Zero and Call of Duty 2. Do many people still play these games on Xbox Live much anymore?
Dyson Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Doh, PDZ...supposedly one of the worst games the 360 has to offer, heh. It might be a cliche but Halo 3 is cheap these days and is obviously played by thousands daily.
Ganepark32 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Several hundreds of thousands. Although it takes awhile to get a party, especially playing squad battles, there are still on average about 200,000 people playing Halo 3 every night. Which is good because it's not bad online. Haven't played it since before xmas so might have a go further in the week although I'll probably play TF2. MEDIC!
Guest Jordan Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Good lord, Perfect Dark Zero was an awful game... I hated it on release.
Domstercool Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 PDZ isn't bad... >.> bad is something like Legendary :P
m_fergy Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Resi 5 demo up... Already played it but its to good not to play again Click
Cube Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 If you play PDZ on Agent (easy) it's a fun mindless shooter. However, don't ever try to be stealthy (the game will tell you to do so on most levels). It never works.
S.C.G Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Fuck... RE5 demo? on UK Marketplace? I'm there... *Edit* Ty for that m fergy I'm downloading it now. ^^
