Pirates of The Caribbean 3: At World's End

I thoght this was a great movie. I'm a big fan of the Pirates trilogy and this was definitely another edition worthy of a bottle of Rum (cringe!). There were some great laughs in it, some pretty intense battles and one very breath-taking scene!

Keira Knightley is hot, Depp is amazing as Cap'n Jack and I really liked how the storyline played out.

Here's hoping for another 2 films at least!

8.5/10

"Quickly, you've got to come with me!"

"I can't they've.... they've tied my shoelaces together."

"A double knot? Those bastards."

lol, awesome quote from the awesome Hot Shots Part Deux, best part of the film was the whole breaking into the complex and rescuing the prisoners. Bloodiest Movie Ever!!! lol.

And personally, i think Truman Show is Carreys best work. Cable Guy is worth watching, but only as a rental or something. Liar Lair is awesome, can't tell a lie for a whole day, lmao throughout.

Watched all these yesterday

Die Hard

Used this film to test my new PC sound system and i don't regret buying it. The explosions made my speakers shake a little and made the film even more enjoyable. 10/10

American Pie 2

Great sequel to the first film, enjoyed it a bit more than the original and it had a few more laughs in than before 9/10

Rocky IV

My personal favourite Rocky movie, great songs featured which i tend to sing now and again. Also one of the best montaiges showing training with modern and old-fashioned equipment. 9.5/10

Scarface

Great gangster movie, currently playing the game that follows the movie 9/10

Pirates - At The Worlds End

9/10

Loved every minute, much better than the second.

Btw - shrek the third? I loved the second one, thought it was much better than the first, even though the first is one of my favourite films...will this mean i will definitly like shrek the third..or will I end up being dissapointed, because over in the stated critics are slaughtering it saying its "to like the first two"...which to me is a good thing surely?

The Lives of Others

This film is raw fucking incredible distilled in to 2 hours of cinema.

Following the investigation of a playwright by the Secret Police in 80's East Berlin, the film centers on the Stasi agent assigned to unvcover the seemingly loyal socialist. As the film progresses, the agent becomes facinated by his subject, and eventually begins to subvert his own inventigation.

It really is brilliant. Tense, funny, emotionally powerful and utterly compelling. Everyone needs to see this, somehow.

I saw worlds end too.

Personally it is a 6/10 not complete shit but is Johny Depp weren't in it (Kieth Richards too) then it would have been. The story line at the end was so weak it was stupid anyone with half a brain would have seen it coming.
