Tomorrow Never Dies

A great original 007 movie, starring Pierce Brosnan. In my opinion, it is his second best movie behind Goldeneye. It had great supporting acting from a great line-up. The bad guy in this wasn't as obvious as some movies, it made you think it was someone else for a while until mid-film. This gets 9.5/10

Miracles

Set in the 1930's, starring Jackie Chan. This movie is one of the best classic Chan movies i have seen, and any Jackie Chan fan must see this movie. It has all the humour, crazy stunts and martial arts that he is famous for throughout. I'm giving this a 9/10

Scarface

What can i say bad about this movie, nothing. What i can say about this is that if you havn't seen this, where have you been. Al Pacino portreys Tony Montana perfectly. He does the cuban accent well, and it has one of the best endings in film history to me. 10/10.

Gojira (Godzilla - 1954).

2 words to describe this film (technically 3, but 2 sounds better): Abso-fucking-ulty brilliant! Easily the greatest monster movie of all time! I would recommend this to anyone (But I probably won't, since most people would probably mock me since it's an old movie :P)

10 Kaiju monsters out of 10

Also, if you want to see it, here's the full movie (In Japanese, with English subs) on Google Video.

Withnail & I

I DEMAND BOOZE!

9/10

"We want the finest wines available to humanity. And we want them here, and we want them now!"

I've yet to see it all the way through, I must watch it sometime! Everyone who has seen it tells me it's brilliant.

I really should watch it...

Oh my god. Factory Girl. I love. I actually love.

9/10

Sad, exciting, and generally a great film. I have an interest in the topic anyway, so that might influence the vote, but not much really. Sienna Miller blew me away; I never thought she was anything special.

Just great.

I agree with OW. Just because you didn't like a film doesn't mean it's crap. We know that Gladiator is a great film, but not everyone will like it. A person who hates action movies would not like the film at all, that doesn't mean they'd say it's a bad film. A critic would rate it the 10/10 is rightly deserves, but if we were to go by the whole "rate by how much you like" approach then we'd get scores of 0. The same could be said about games. I really don't like WoW, I'm not the biggest MMO fan, but you won't here me saying "it's a shit game, 0/1000". Of course though, it is possibly the best game in it's genre and there's no denying it's quality.

You can rate games however you want though, and no-one should have a go at anyone else about their scoring systems. However if we all aspire to be decent film critics, then we should rate like critics.

Thank you so very much for clearing that up. : peace:

Casino Royale : I enjoyed it, ludacrous product placement aside. But I couldnt help but think all the way through Bourne does this better. Still Eva Green is hot so it gets extra points because of her. Daniel Craig pretty good still prefer Pierce though. Better then the last 3 Bond films put together. 7.5/10

Dawn of the Dead

Pretty mediocre Zombie film. They tried to make dramatic and sophisticated characters but the character developement is forced in certain scenes alone without any explanation what drives them which got me pretty annoyed and bored.

Also they don't kill enough Zombies. Otherwise it's quite exciting and entertaining, what you'd expect from your 08/15 Zombie film.

5/10

You're not talking about the 1978 Dawn Of The Dead, are you? You're talking about the remake, ain't you?

Anyway:

Bridge To Terabithia

Pretty darn nice. It's no masterpiece, but it has it's moments... and they're great.

7/10.
