Dcubed
For what it's worth, that Zelda 3DS includes a Download Code for ALBW, not a physical copy or a pre-installed digital copy...
-Dem0-
Since they're not bundling the physical game, they may as well start including an AC adapter with those Xls. That console looks great though.
Agent Gibbs
i'm more interested in the console! i've always had the zelda special editions of consoles and lvoed them, but the normal 3DS one left me feeiling it was a bit lackluster, black with gold trim where as before its all been gold with black....this feels like a proper Zelda one
bryanee
AT first I was like AWWWWW YEAH I gots to get that and then I saw its all gold on the inside and I was like AWWWWWW.
Rummy
They're basically the only nationwide dedicated games retailer left that has street presence even though that got diminished last year. It's them or HMV pretty much and they almost went bye bye. Zelda Edition XL: http://store.nintendo.co.uk/3ds-hardware/nintendo-3ds-xl-the-legend-of-zelda-a-link-between-worlds-limited-edition/10848361.html Fuck. Too much want. I won't...but I want. Yeah, it's a nice item, but there's no way I'm dealing with GAME ever again. Seriously, they could be offering a life-size treasure chest, made out of real gold, delivered by a gorgeous woman cosplaying as Zelda, who would then accompany me on an all expenses paid trip to Japan for a VIP tour of Nintendo HQ... And I still wouldn't order from them. Yeah as the day goes on I'm getting more and more resolved not to support them in any way shape or form if I can. Nintendo should use their noggins and start teaming up with ShopTo! Probably prefer GAME as they like the higher prices though.
yesteryeargames
Anywhere apart from Nintendo taking pre orders for the consoles ?
Rummy
Does anyone have a decent/solid confirmation on that chest as a GAME preorder bonus btw? One of the biggest questions I'm seeing around it, not to mention GAME's own site doesn't mention it.
S.C.G
Anywhere apart from Nintendo taking pre orders for the consoles ? ShopTo are taking pre-orders for the Zelda one... just under £200. It's nice but... wrong time, Novemeber is already expensive enough for me.
Guy
Nintendo should be offering the chest on their own website as an incentive to buy games directly from them.
Rummy
Nintendo should be offering the chest on their own website as an incentive to buy games directly from them. How very true! Nintendo-exclusive pre-order bonus? That'd work. Could even do a little deal with it maybe for downloads too...?
Mokong
I would actually be very tempted to upgrade my current (normal) 3DS to that Zelda XL one.... BUT the digital game instead of a physical game is a deal breaker for me, if a game has a retail release I'd much prefer the retail than the download. Ike
It comes with a code to redeem (why have they started doing that instead of preinstalling now?) though so you could sell the code and buy the retail version? In the bundle the digital version works out to be £20. (GAME) Preorder canceled: (1/3) You may have seen last night @NintendoUK tweeted about a pre-order chest item for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. (2/3) We have no pre-order bonus to announce but BUT you can be sure we're working with Din, Nayru & Farore to bring you something special… [...]
Fused King
So Aonuma is hinting at Majora's Mask connections in this game. I wonder if maybe Zelda Wiiu could be tied in with Majora's Mask as well... Would be interesting.
Dcubed
(GAME) Preorder canceled: Goodbye GAME preorder, hello Shopto preorder? I'm so confused? I want that chest (but not having to deal with GAME would be a nice plus )
Thiophen
Hey guys, I have preorded the "A Link Between Words Nintendo 3DS XL Special Edition", but I also want to have the game as a physical copy, so is anyone interested in my Download Code? (But not for free. :P) (But to be true, I have no idea about the language...)
Rummy
Goodbye GAME preorder, hello Shopto preorder? I'm so confused? I want that chest (but not having to deal with GAME would be a nice plus ) The chest doesn't exist from GAME(NintendoUK said it did, then GAME said it didn't) so...well, you don't have to deal with them now? :p Also here is a picture that I just came across, not sure if it's been in here yet but I like it. Rummy
wait so GAME deny nintendo's claim of the chest? then who the hell is offering that! NintendoUK tweeted that it would be GAME exclusive, then GAME tweeted saying they don't(or won't?) have it?? No idea who will in that case! Still crossing my fingers it might be ShopTo. Far out theory but it might be that Nintendo announced it without talking to GAME, and maybe they're just being bitches about it.
RedShell
Still crossing my fingers it might be ShopTo.I'm not. Not after the Wind Waker keyring fiasco. I'd rather get my game early/on release, than get it late for the sake of a plastic treasure chest.
Wii
A More Detailed Look at the UK A Link Between Worlds Preorder Bonus Chest Looks really nice and I didn't realise you could store 3DS games in it. Also a nice little feature is the speaker shaped like a rupee. So who's going to sell this with GAME denying they are? I was thinking how much would these be worth if they went on Ebay considering how much the Club Nintendo Mario Kart trophies fetch? I think the chest is more desirable. -Dem0-
I would never use stuff like that to store my games. I just can't. On a side note here's a little Miiverse post from Aonuma (mainly for those without a Wii U). "Hello, members of the Zelda Community! This is Eiji Aonuma of Nintendo. Recently I took time from overseeing the completion of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds to visit the USA and Europe to speak to fans and media about all things Zelda! Whilst in Europe I had the opportunity to enjoy some brief sightseeing, as you’ll see from this image taken in Frankfurt, Germany. Link is a perfect travel companion, as he’s all too used to sailing great, open seas and travelling vast open worlds!"

Ronnie
... Great... another probably GAME exclusive awesome pre-order bonus that I'll have to resort to buying off eBay. Why spend money on eBay when you can get it free with GAME? I know it's the done thing to hate GAME but are they really that bad? I've ordered half a dozen games in the past year from them and all arrived in time.

I've ordered half a dozen games in the past year from them and all arrived in time. GAME price - £34.99 Reward points = barely anything ShopTo price - £31.85 Reward points = £1.59 That's around £5 difference, assuming I can get one of those chests for £5 on eBay then I still think I get the better deal because ShopTo generally ship games earlier than GAME... it's not just that it's the 'done thing' to hate GAME, they aren't actually that great any more, not like they used to be long ago.
