Damn! Dirt rally is no joke.

Game is tough for sure.

Just waiting for Amazon to deliver this, seems like they don't bother aiming for release day if your not prime!

Looking forward to getting to grips with it, big fan of the other dirt games, I know they are different but they are always a solid racer.

For the love of God, I hope they don't. It's kinda fun watching you squirm over this. :heh:

There ya go. too obvious?

Currently I'm only orb e forced (:p) with the games I regularly play, Spotify and the TV section (which includes Netflix and YouTube). I don't even see the media folder and all the stuff I don't need.

Just as @somme said, the things you don't use disappear. And if you want to play a game that isn't on your quick selection it takes literally only 15 seconds to get it from the Library.

What do you bitches know about remote play coming to Mac?

Will I finally be able to wake up on Saturday morning, make a cuppa tea and play something like Battlefront or The Witcher 3 Greatest Game of All Time's DLC (when it's out) in bed on Ine's macbook? What will I need? Just the PS4 pad, riiight?

Just read this on Gaf about the new update.

OMG!! You can remove people from that highly obnoxious "players you may know" thing ...That shit has always bothered me .

Game changer for me. Absolutely hated that thing. This is the first thing i'll be doing once the update has downloaded. :bouncy:

Haha, I don't really care as much as I make out (though it would be brilliant if they did it.). I have given up hope of it.

Pretty sure the media folder disappears down your home screen if you don't use it.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't considering I've never opened it and it's always there. But actually I'll test it out, be good if so.

Yeeeehehehe [/Nien Nunb]

We've given this a try this afternoon. We figured that we'd jump in balls deep and try out Battlefront to see how that went. For our first effort, we tried this in the living room, so very close to our hub and PS4. The first effort saw us trying the game on low quality and it ran very well. It all connected up and we didn't really have any issues to speak of.

The second effort saw us upping the quality to standard and we gave DriveClub a go. Game looked fantastic and played very well with no issues.

The third attempt saw us trying DriveClub in the bedroom with low quality. Unfortunately, this is where we started to see more lag and the game became unplayable. I wonder if a signal booster would improve things?

Overall, it's amazing that this even works at all. One potential usage for us is when Ine/we go to Belgium. We could still have access to our games, which would be great for the evenings after we've done all of our socialising and want to chill out. Could also be useful for Wales when I go to visit my family, too. Kinda want to test it out over a greater distance to see how it all works...

Yeah been trying it out as well. Admittedly was in the same room as the router and ps4 but it worked great. Driveclub was flawless and didn't notice any lag at all. 720p wasn't really an issue either. It all looked great still.

I can't work out how to change the settings on the remote play program? I've set it up, and was trying to play some Battlefront, but it kept going all squirmy, so i thought i'd lower the settings to see if it sped up at all - but i can't work out how to change the settings?

EDIT: You have to restart the program and change the settings before connecting apparently. But even then, it does not like playing through a wireless connection - skips horribly.

I was just about to post about how to change the settings, but I've just seen your edit.

You could try a wired connection. That should help in some form. How good is your internet?

Well the PS4 is wired, it's just my laptop that's wireless. Our internet is 100-150Mbps so i doubt it's that...

It's bad when i'm sitting right next to the router, so there's no point me even trying it in the bedroom. Ho hum, never mind.

That's quite a conundrum, brah. I'm not even going to pretend like I know what to suggest.

It looks like you'll have to do something else in that bedroom to make yourself happy. I don't know, read a book or something.
