ShavenWolf
Consider me jealous! Better not tell you that I went to the park where Scott and Ramona have their first date and went on the swings, and went to the Pizza Pizza opposite Honest Ed's and sat in the seats used in the movie, and saw (but didn't go in) the library where Scott sees Ramona for real the first time, and went to Lee's Palace for an awesome night out (no Clash At Demonhead though...) and had a browse through the Goodwill shop at crap clothes, had a mooch around Casa Loma and went up and back down the stairs Lucas Lee grinds down... as well as going to Sonic Boom for a good browse and for a coffee at the Second Cup! This is as well as doing 'normal' tourist stuff, like going up the CN Tower and to Niagara Falls!

ShavenWolf
Did you go to Toronto just to visit places where they filmed scenes for Scott Pilgrim? Because I approve. Partly! I really wanted to go after watching Scott Pilgrim, and it just so happened that my friend had just moved over there for a year! So me and a friend went to live with him for a week! Fun Fact: Hillcrest Park (aka: the park from Scott Pilgrim) is right at the end of the street my friend's living on! I also went to some of the places that are in the books too, like Dufferin Mall and inside Honest Ed's (and saw the massive moose head). I'm sure there's probably more too! Did you listen to this whilst walking through the park? If not, missed opportunity I love that piece of music. Absolutely stunning. Probably my favourite non-music track. Like soundtrack, thing. You know what I mean. (Bonus points if it was snowing.) And yeah.. I reeeally want to do exactly what you did. The fact that I've always wanted to visit Canada helps
ShavenWolf
I hope you all shared a bed in his tiny one-room apartment, for the real Scott Pilgrim experience. Seems like an awesome trip, though. Hahaha, I *did* sleep on an airbed on the floor in the same room as my friend... who sleeps on a mattress on the floor! So it was pretty close! The fact that I've always wanted to visit Canada helps I didn't, unfortunately... it did enter my head though as I climbed the steps Scott meets Ramona at! It was a totally awesome trip though. Definitely worth doing for any Scott Pilgrim geek. It's just really weird now watching Scott Pilgrim... I saw it after I got home and I noticed so much more location-wise, especially the parts where Scott and Knives are hanging out at the start! They used the crossroads with the Honest Ed's and the Pizza Pizza a lot in that section! Edit - This crossroads: Bonus pic: Outside Lee's Palace, before coming back for the awesome night out. Canadian beer = crazy beer. Edited May 17, 2011 by ShavenWolf
EddieColeslaw
There should be an official properly-organised Scott Pilgrim tour, visiting all of the places seen in the film. But yes. I am jealous!!
ShavenWolf
The only major place I didn't go to was the house... but I suppose it's best to save something for the next trip! If anybody's interested in doing it, it was about £370 for the flights from Manchester for a week. Which isn't too bad! It also helps if you have a friend over there to stay with for free, of course. I'd actually recommend going to Toronto anyway, even if you're not a Scott Pilgrim fan! It's so amazing and it's got the most chilled out atmosphere of any city I've been to! EddieColeslaw
"Eddie, why have you painted your nails a tacky silver colour?" "TO MATCH MY TACKY SILVER FLATS." (also, non-emo haircut) I love being able to slip them on and run out of the house. Reminds me of Amy Winehouse's grubby ballet flats, which entertains me. nightwolf
That's almost like when I used to have a blue fringe, blue hoodie and blue shoes. I used to match far too often!
