Paj! Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 But anyway... does this poster mean that they are going with the Cataclysm story (sorry, my Batman lore is a bit shabby... is that what it's called?) Cataclysm is about a devastating earthquake hitting Gotham. BUT there's been no info on ANY story details thus far, as far as I know.
Jamba Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 The poster does look a bit earthquake stricken.... is Cain (sp?) involved in that story arc? EDIT: Sorry Bane!
bryanee Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 The trailer is being shown before movies right now, god damn. I've also read a description of the trailer and if true daaaaaaaamn.
Pancake Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Oh my gahd, why's it not on youtube already/need to go to the cinema/panic!!!!!! /distress
Paj! Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I'm not going to watch the trailer for as long as possible. I already know too much. We shouldn't know it has Bane, Selina Kyle etc. I don't want or need to know more.
Pancake Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I will allow myself teaser trailers, that is all. Hopefully they will be in the style of this: And give 'nothing' away. But be amazing.
Captain Falcon Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I will allow myself teaser trailers, that is all. Hopefully they will be in the style of this: ~Trailer~ And give 'nothing' away. But be amazing. Damn it - I thought you posted the new one then for a second I was about to give you a Million Falcon Points... but instead, I'm taking 5 off of your total. See, look what you've made me do - I hope you're happy now...
mike-zim Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I need a trailer. The last film was amazing. I hope it will be as good!
Coolness Bears Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Watched it in poor, blurry quality. Looks cool. Should just wait to watch in Cinema as it is just dark. If you are tempted: http://whatculture.com/film/watch-the-dark-knight-rises-teaser-trailer.php
Captain Falcon Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Just saw that over at another site. It's very much a teaser and nothing more really as genuine new footage is kept to an absolute minimum but still very cool nonetheless. No doubt an official release will go up soon. Apart from Potter, I can't think off the top of my head of a WB film coming out soon which will show the trailer and I'm not going to see that just to watch it on the big screen.
Murr Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Watched it in poor, blurry quality. Looks cool. Should just wait to watch in Cinema as it is just dark. If you are tempted: http://whatculture.com/film/watch-the-dark-knight-rises-teaser-trailer.php How long ago was that? as it's already been taken down.
The Peeps Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 How long ago was that? as it's already been taken down. I watched it from that link about 30 minutes ago
Murr Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Any other links other than You-tube, cant go on that at work
FalcoLombardi Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Nolan is saving money by filming in Pittsburgh over here. Its pretty cheap to do so. Recent list: I Am Number Four Warrior (Tom Hardy) The Next Three Days (Russell Crowe) Love and Other Drugs (Anne Hathaway) She's Out Of My League Unstoppable (Denzel Washington) The Road Adventureland Zack and Miri Make a Porno
Murr Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 The Bat-mobile... so the old Tumbler is back then, and something covered in blue tar-pooling.
Dog-amoto Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 This is a pretty cool (but obviously fake) trailer
Agent Gibbs Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 This is a pretty cool (but obviously fake) trailer wish that was the real film, it fits so well
Jamba Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 The Bat-mobile... so the old Tumbler is back then, and something covered in blue tar-pooling. Thats the Bat bike under the tarp... Is that really a photo from filming the new film?
arab_freak Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Batman is a rubbish super hero, no matter how good Nolan's movies are. He's just a modern-day Zorro: http://www.cracked.com/article_17299_6-famous-characters-you-didnt-know-were-shameless-rip-offs_p2.html But think of what Jean-Luc Godard once said: It’s not where you take things from—it’s where you take them to.
mike-zim Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 I think the batman fils are great, proper super hero or not.
