I've been tempted to get that. I already convinced someone else to when I shared a link to it on the Facebooks, but I don't think I'd ever play it. We have the Playstation 3 in the living room which acts as our blu ray player but we've never used it in the new house. Just opting for the Netflix.

How is the quality? I've got it on DVD.

I'll post again when I get around to watching it. At the moment I'm going through one of the One Piece collections but Outlaw Star is next on my list.

EEVILMURRAY has reminded me of a purchase I made a few months ago, the following cost me £8.

2 Pokemon comics:

I'm not really a collector of comics, but these cost £2 for both, so I couldn't really refuse. I Don't know anything about these...

A book full of pokemon cards:

Never been a collector of them, but again for £6 I couldn't say no. The only reason why I bought these was because I thought they were old, going off the pikachu cards that are in the folder (it looks like red/blue pikachu rather than the anime version).

I wont post all the images here as the mods wont thank me for that, however I have uploaded them all to some webspace I have. There are 29 more images that can be found at the following links:

So, did my $8 investment pay off?

So, did my $8 investment pay off?

In a word, yes.

In more than a word, Charizard alone is worth a lot more than £8 so yes, pretty solid investment there. : peace:

I would say yes. As S.C.G. said, the Charizard is more than $8 by itself. Quite a bit depending on the condition. They are all old cards, from the Base, Jungle and Fossil (the first three) sets.

The most recent set has actually reprinted some of the older cards, keeping a little faithful to the style:

Harry Potter Complete Audiobook Edition. My girlfriend loves the series and always wanted to have audiobooks. Easy Christmas gift :D She'll also get the following:

She seemed to enjoy the one hour she spent with Tearaway Unfolded so I figured this would be a nice present for her Vita :)

She will also get an advent calendar for which I've bought sweets, bath salts and various other things.

And this year, too, I bought some of @Eenuh's wonderful Christmas cards. :)

Thank you! :D

I had a bit of a panic though as I saw your order, as I recently took my cards to Belgium so my mom could sell them there... and I thought I had none left here! But luckily I still have quite a few of the Christmas ones so it's all fine!

It's reminded me that I need to take my shop offline though, until I figure out what I'm doing with my website haha!

I'll post the cards to you this weekend! Thanks again! :D

Eenuh, I was thinking of buying a couple of your Christmas cards too, what types do you have left?

I don't want to make you all jealous with my wild and exuberant purchases but I recently bought a new oven shelf and a grill pan. I'm not going to let it change me though.

I'm up there with you, paying a plumber to fix my oil tank....

How do you have Lucky Star so soon?! Mines not even dispatched yet. :<

I bought it from the distributer here after getting an e-mail saying they had it on offer from the 11th to the 15th. Cancled my Amazon order because they were £10 cheaper at the time. I was surprised when it turned up, wasn't expecting it untill Monday at the earliest. They sent it out on Thursday for delivery the next day for some reason.

A £3 saving is enough for me (though wish I knew of the £10 discount while it was on), cancelled my Amazon order. Thanks for the link.
