Serebii Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Even though a lot of his stuff is a bit staged, isn't this a bit reckless?
Daft Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 What is he going to do exactly? That video explained very little.
Serebii Posted September 2, 2010 Author Posted September 2, 2010 What is he going to do exactly? That video explained very little. Cause a plane to fall out of the air and have one person come out of nowhere and save everyone
Platty Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Cause a plane to fall out of the air and have one person come out of nowhere and save everyone Superman? 10char
Mundi Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Probably gonna pull some shit like, hypnotising them to think that they are on a plane when this all goes down. Then everyone looks shocked when they realize they were on a set and bla bla bla
Daft Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Cause a plane to fall out of the air and have one person come out of nowhere and save everyone That's not exact.
Jimbob Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Some of his stuff is impressive, but this may be going too far.
stuwii Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 He cannot actually drop planes out of the sky people. Even if he could ofcom might have quite a few words for him, don't you think?
dwarf Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 He cannot actually drop planes out of the sky people. Even if he could ofcom might have quite a few words for him, don't you think? The man speaks sense. :Z
jayseven Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 ... The thread title reads like a sun headline. You should be ashamed. Ashamed.
The Peeps Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Well I like Derren Brown and his stance against fraudulent 'psychics' so I will be watching this with interest. Fairly sure there won't be an actual plane dropping out of the sky though.
Munch Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 This will be just the same as the bank heist one he did a while back. I love Derren Brown... A lot!
Wesley Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Yeah I'm sure this isn't an actual plane... I couldn't even take my handy knife on the plane, people are really up tight about planes these days.
Murr Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 So due to being in work i cant watch that video... could some one please post what channel and what time, will deffo be watching this.
Serebii Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 ... The thread title reads like a sun headline. You should be ashamed. Ashamed. Well, I am a journalist :P
Shorty Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Cause a plane to fall out of the air and have one person come out of nowhere and save everyone Erm no, the description makes it seem like one person will be hypnotised into thinking they are the only person who can save a plane full of thousands of people - and then be tested to see if he can make a selfless decision to save everyone else. Nothing will actually be done to the plane, and no doubt everyone else on board will be in on it, to avoid panic. After that whole "stick you to your chair" shit, I couldn't care less about Darren Brown.
Will Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 who can save a plane full of thousands of people Bloody big plane then!
Goron_3 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Oh dear. His lottery prank was just hilariously bad after it was revealed like the day after how he did it, i'm sure this will have the same 'shock' factor initially until you realise how much it actually impresses you.

This isn't the same style of show though... This is much more of his old styled shows. Like getting someone to rob a money mover truck, etc.
Paj! Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I don't understand (enough from that trailer to have a full opinion).
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) See, while these things are definitely interesting, and while I admire his view on psychics and frauds, I can't help but feel he is guilty of exactly the same. Surely he realises how all the impressionable minds out there will think he can actually do magic? Edited September 3, 2010 by Dannyboy-the-Dane
