Posted June 14 Violence!? My word! What has become of videogames these days!? Yeah, it's probably gonna be in the Direct. The past few weeks for the Switch has been a bit calm. But you know, always a calm before the... well, it's end of the console's life, so not a storm. More of a slightly windy day.

Posted June 18 As announced during today's Nintendo Direct, a new golden Hyrule variant of the Switch Lite is due for release on the same day as Echoes of Wisdom -- 26th September. Being bundled in with NSO+Expansion Pack makes complete sense and is very smart -- I wonder if that gives us an idea of how Nintendo plan to avoid a price cut this holiday season? Oh that's interesting! Don't think they've ever done an NSO Expansion Pack bundle before? Means that you get a LOT of Zelda bundled in for "free" with the console... at least your first hit anyway
Posted June 18 I've never been interested in the Lite but that is gorgeous and tempting
Posted June 21 Reynatis is shaping up pretty well, imo. The website describes how it works (swapping between Liberation and Suppression modes). What I can add is that the music and atmosphere are pretty great and most importantly, it actually feels good to play. Very pleasantly surprised. It's not all in Tokyo as there is a portal to a forest area. So I'm sure more can be expected. Also, if the TWEWY crossover wasn't happening, you can just tell the game is tailor-made for it. It should be a perfect coming together.

Posted Thursday at 12:13 PM Pyoro has been caught by Nintendo's ninjas. Quote During the company's annual shareholder meeting on Thursday – transcribed by X user NStyles – Nintendo directors were asked specifically about a recent report that several recently leaked Nintendo announcements allegedly originated from a Google employee who accessed private videos in the Switch maker's YouTube account. Responding, the directors said they were aware of the media reports and claimed that Nintendo has been working with external companies to diagnose security leaks. The company has introduced new measures to its security systems, it said, and it's also working to educate employees about IT security. You could tell something was up when they didn't tease everything in the Direct. Gotta say, I'm pretty happy that the leakers are being pursued and silenced. Makes watching a Direct much more exciting when you don't know what's on the cards. Nintendo still has work to do though. A long-time member of Era mentioned the Zelda and Mario & Luigi game well before the Direct hit. Even got the Brothership name right.

I want Mario & Luigi, but I'm still on the fence about Zelda until I'm certain it's not an open world! Might be time to browse the eShop... EDIT: Nope, nothing I want that I don't already have. Great, now I run the risk of buying a voucher and having nothing to use it on... Edited Thursday at 01:52 PM by Glen-i
