ReZourceman Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Ho-ly-shit. This is fucking incredible. I can't believe I only just discovered this. Basically; Cross your eyes. Focus on the middle image, until it comes into focus. It took me four attempts at watching the full video. Don't give up. Truely keep practising. My eyes kept snapping back on not focusing on the middle one, it was just blurey. This is insane. Probably best on bigger Incredibly awesome. And Channel 4 are doing a 3D week. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/3d-week This is good too.
weeyellowbloke Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Hmmm, doesn't work for me as I can't actually cross my eyes. I'd imagine it's much like those magic eye pictures, but I've never been able to do any of them either. My eyes suck.

It works the same as 3D glasses except that instead of the glasses moving to two images into one you are doing it yourself with your eyes.
Ramar Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Either I'm broken.. or it plain doesn't work. Even with my glasses on all I got was a blurry picture..
MoogleViper Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Either I'm broken.. or it plain doesn't work. Even with my glasses on all I got was a blurry picture.. The picture isn't going to be crystal clear. But if you focus on the "third" picture for a while it does became clearer.
Slaggis Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 It worked, but only just. My eyes feel like they want to curl up and die now though.
Diageo Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I kinda got the hang of seeing it, and its really clear, but my eyes keep popping back every 20 seconds or so and then it takes like 3 seconds to do it again.
Nolan Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Tried this a while back, but I was either too close or too far for it to work correctly. My eyes just kept refocusing, odd since I can cross them normally and just keep them crossed for quite some time.
ReZourceman Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 The picture isn't going to be crystal clear. But if you focus on the "third" picture for a while it does became clearer. I think it should be crystal clear, because it certainly is for me. Just keep trying guys.
Beast Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I can do this, it works. It's better to wear the glasses though. I can't wait for the 3D week to come, thanks for telling me
Shino Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Cool, I've done this before with still pictures but never with a video. However this video has the separate footage too close to each other for it to work for me.
Nintendohnut Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I couldn't get it to work, and now my eyes are in a whole world of hurt. Thanks Rez
Shino Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 This one works perfectly for me and it's awesome.
Cube Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 It worked just as well as 3D Glasses (i.e. not at all). My eyes suck.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Gah, I've tried this before and just can't get it to work! For me, the images don't melt together - instead I get four images, as I just end up seeing double!
Eenuh Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I don't even know how to cross my eyes. I've never been able to do it. =( I can't get those weird 3D illusion images to work either. My eyes are just super crappy heh.
Shino Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) Gah, I've tried this before and just can't get it to work! For me, the images don't melt together - instead I get four images, as I just end up seeing double! You're forcing it too much. You need to overlay the two middle images. And now that I think of it, I can't understand how you can see the red and blue videos in 3D without glasses, not that I'm questioning those that do, but it seems impossible to create a single 3D image in your brain without individual pictures for each eye. Ah, I see. But I still can't seem to do it.
Wesley Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I don't understand, the image, when crossing my eyes, is 2 screens away from each other... no third image. Okay, the ones where there are two images side by side works fine. Not really that hard to get it. Just cross your eyes and focus on the middle, it then "locks" and it's beeeeaaautiful. But the bee one... how can you even do that cross eyed? There's just one image... doesn't make sense, no cross over.
Diageo Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 There's two images in the bee one, you probably need to change it in the dropdown menu. I'm getting really good at this now, only loose it with text and when the screen goes black, I can even look at little bits of the image istead of just focusing on the whole thing.
Wesley Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 *feels dumb* It's really easy to do once you've done it once. I bet there is a whole million websites dedicated to this type of porn.
Raining_again Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I'm not even gonna try, my deviation (eye) goes the wrong way. Forcing it inwards is painful. (I have had my eye muscles cut to prevent my left eye going inwards) I'm with eenuh and the "crappy eyes" comment =P
jayseven Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I hate the future. So long as they don't bring out 3d literature, I guess I'll have something eh!
Cube Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Music will never screw you over, Jay. They'll find a way...
