Nami Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I've just about finished playing Super Mario 2 and need something to move onto on my DS. I've played Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon, Kirby Canvas curse, Sonic Rush, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Phoenix Wright and loads more I can't remember! Any ideas what I should play next?
Cube Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Even though I got it on release day, I've just beaten Phantom Hourglass.
darksnowman Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Even though I got it on release day, I've just beaten Phantom Hourglass. How did you enjoy it? I really liked PH despite all the criticism it tends to get.
Cube Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 How did you enjoy it? I really liked PH despite all the criticism it tends to get. It's a great game, just not to Zelda's usual standard. Minish Cap was a lot better.
Kai Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 How about Puzzle Quest Challenge of the Warlords? After playing it, I finally met addiction.Long time without meeting her, since like Pokémon on the GBA. I have a DSi but I might buy an old phat or a lite, if I see one cheap, that's because my GBA isn't working very good...
Ganepark32 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Didn't exactly know where to put this but for those who have a DSi, you can look forward to WayForward bringing Shantae to the DSiWare service in the coming months, presumably in 2010, with it being called Shantae: Risky's Revenge. That's all there is at the moment on it from what I've got.

darksnowman Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Made a thread for Shantae (before seeing you guys had posted it in here). I figured its one of the bigger games that merits having its own particular thread for discussion.
Ike Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Europe getting 3 new DSi colours; blue, light blue and red. Release date is 23rd October. http://www.escuadronpikmin.com/2009/09/17/el-23-de-octubre-llegaran-nuevos-colores-de-dsi-a-europa/ I like the dark blue and red DSi colours.

Unless those blue's look horrendous in real life, I reckon I'll be looking to cut a deal with Game and get my white DSi traded for one.
ReZourceman Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Damn nice. The midnight blue one is sexual indeed. Unless those blue's look horrendous in real life, I reckon I'll be looking to cut a deal with Game and get my white DSi traded for one. How would downloaded games work? Can you copy them over to an SD card? How?
darksnowman Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 How would downloaded games work? Can you copy them over to an SD card? How? I'll have to read up on that but all I have downloaded is Flipnote Studio! I'm thinking pics can be put on an SD and (hoping) anything else will be magically sorted by Nintendo.
Coolness Bears Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I have started playing Super Mario 64 DS again and I'd forgotten how golden this game is! The reason I'm playing again is because my nephew accidently deleted my save and I had spent ages getting all 150 stars! :p
Diageo Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Can someone tell me a really good DS game to buy? I've bought so many I think I ran out of games...
MadDog Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 My personal favourites are - Big Bang Mini, GTA: Chinatown Wars, and Rhythm Paradise.
Diageo Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 humm, dont have big bang mini... Whats it like?
MadDog Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Wonderful pick up and play game, i'm no good at trying to sell a game to somebody. But the gameplay is just very satisfying, loads to do, i'm not even past Arcade mode, and theres Story mode, and another i can't remember. I would imagine it would be pretty cheap aswell.
S.C.G Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 humm, dont have big bang mini... Whats it like? Absolutely brilliant game, I should know seeing as I P/Reviewed it... http://n-europe.com/review.php?rid=437 Well worth getting if you can find it cheap.
darksnowman Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I played the Big Bang Mini demo via the Nintendo Channel on the Wii and thought it was quality. I bought the full game for about £15 shortly after and I've still not opened it. You should be able to get it cheap enough in Game or HMV so have a gander. The soundtrack has some nice tunes on it too- I like the Paris one.
peterl0 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Has anyone found any good games (other than flipnote obviously) on the DSi download service yet? Seems like decent releases are quite thin on the ground - or at least I do not know about them.
Cube Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Mario Vs Donkey Kong, PiCOPiCT, BOXLIFE, NEMREM and CODE are pretty good.

peterl0 Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Mario Vs Donkey Kong, PiCOPiCT, BOXLIFE, NEMREM and CODE are pretty good. Thanks. Never heard of most of them (Mario and Donkey Kong excepting). No place to get decent DSi reviews it would seem. PiCOPiCT does look pretty good, maybe I will give it a try.
