Wierd! I had this conversation last period today with a big group of mates.

I'm apparently known for:

-Sarcasm

-My laugh

-Monkeys (Don't ask :heh: )

-My dirty sense of humour

-Being short (Though I'm not now!)

-Retarded T-shirts

-Not being very good at insults

-Being a southerner (Northerners are jelous about the way I say "Arse" :p)

-Being huge

;)

Much the same things I'm known for here methinks:

Being geeky.

Playing go.

Liking random discussions that get heated.

Knowing an abnormal amount of extremely useless facts.

Not caring at all about fashion.

Learning Japnese in my free time.

Reading a lot of books. (got deemed an honourary English student for quoting an obscure line of Shakespeare and the first line of Northanger Abbey)

Speaking in a slightly odd (and posh) way.

Being a little socially inept.

Hmmm i think i'd be similar..

I've got a fuck up of an accent. My mothers a brummie (i learnt her accent growing up, as you do) I also picked up a scottish accent from being born and brought up there. And the northern irish/ballymenian. An odd mix :heh:

Socially inept, less said about that the better. haha

Being taller than anyone in my family, and still growing.

Having the largest chin in the family. (Bloody brother)

Being a long-haired geek. (Bloody dad)

Having a rather thick Brummie accent. (I reckon if I heard raining_again talk I'd be able to make out the Brummie accent and dialect in her voice.)

That's about it, I think...

I really have no idea, sadly. =/

Allow me to start you off:

  • Being ridiculously good at drawing.
  • Liking animals.

I'd say those are pretty defining aspects of who you are. Well, from what little I know, at any rate.

As for me, I suppose I'd be known for:

  • Knowing a lot about games.
  • Being able to jump high.
  • Not drinking alcohol.
  • Err... being noticeably unremarkable?

I'm more of a sideline person, to be honest. I'm not really 'known'. And I'm not trying to be mysterious by saying that; I don't think there's much to me.

How about modesty bordering on unwarranted self-deprication?

Maybe, but in an art school where at least half of the people draw really well, that first point isn't exactly something you'll be known for (at least not me). =P

And I don't think any of my friends know I love animals. Cause I don't really talk about animals to anyone, even though I think they're amazing and fascinating and wheeee.

Though I think I might be known by some people as:

  • that quiet girl with brown hair
  • someone kind of weird who hangs out with the freaks from school (I like them :heh: )
  • being addicted to Spa sparkling water
  • having no fashion sense X3

How do you know it's unwarranted?

If life has taught me anything it's that I'm genuinely not very good. But that's okay, not everyone's a born winner. I always try my best, which means I can often do better than those with more potential or ability. I'm not naturally adept at anything, but it's not the end of the world; I might be a jack of all trades, but that still gets me a place in the deck*.

Anyway, that's quite enough about me. I don't want to be known for talking about myself, although it does seem to happen quite often on here...

I'm no artist, but I know art's about more than technical ability. Your drawings are chock full of imagination and you have a very distinctive style, and I think it's those things that guarantee you a career in illustration.

If you don't make it as a professional then there's something wrong with the world. Well, more so.

*I'm possibly known for strained/confused metaphors, too.

I'd say I'm best known for these...

  • being tall
  • drinking water
  • able to drink large amounts of alcohol on a night out (i.e getting pissed)
  • "wrecking" people (as we call it)
  • being able to play a few instruments & my preference for old music
  • my like of reading and Eng Lit (which I'm studying at uni)

    oh and...
    .
  • being a whimp when it comes to fighting/agression etc.

though i guess my relatives and aquaintances might also add being reserved
