Charlie
Got this album today and thought I'd create a thread about driving music. What music do you like to drive to? Why do you choose that particular song? Here's my driving playlist which I must've made about a year ago now and seriously needs updating... They're all fast, loud, and quite powerful songs which I can sing along to if I feel the need. The Top Gear album itself is OK, but I wouldn't really call it a driving album... Edit - Imageshack is taking an age to load images here - just be patient if it doesn't load up quickly
Jamba
Oh yeah, get in with the pop-rock and hair-metal. Transformers soundtrack (original movie) is pretty good but probably get down to some Massive Attack if I was feeling in a more mellow mood. Mundi
They left the best driving song ever. Born to be wild!
EEVILMURRAY
I have most of those on their original albums. Bollocks to Top Gear!
welsh_gamer
I find that live albums are much more enjoyable to listen to while driving.
Hellfire
Does it come with driving sunglasses, driving scarf, driving gloves and driving sock?
Jimbob
All classic songs, and great to listen to on a journey. As Hellfire said, does it come with sunglasses?? Got most of these songs on original albums so not much point getting this for my collection.

Dyson
Freebird and Bohemian Rhapsody are two epic driving songs. I was shocked when Bohemian Rhapsody wasn't even shortlisted in their original poll.
Hem
Um generally house, garage or trance at night... Hip hop for the summer is a must, pre-1994 especially. That's about it really. Bit of Jungle too.

Mr_Odwin
'Don't stop me now' by Queen is an awesome choice. I try not to listen to anything with too much pace, or it makes my driving worse than it already is.

jayseven
Does it come with driving sunglasses, driving scarf, driving gloves and driving sock? Just the one sock? Dude, your kind of driving'd get your arrested. Careful, now.
Fierce_LiNk
You need to drive to Cherub Rock by The Smashing Pumpkins. Or 1979 (dunno why, but its very relaxing.) My other recommendations: Be my little baby - The Ronettes Its a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll - AC/DC Slither - Velvet Revolver Roll with it - Oasis
