dazzybee Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Nope you would need to transfer all the stuff to an external HDD or have both PS3's running to do a system transfer. A HDD is tied to the system it was formatted on. Did you manage to get the hair dryer trick working I mentioned on facebook? Not tried it yet, I had it turned off for days, turned it back on and still fucked, I thought that would cool it down.with it being along weekend off ill try it and hopefully can back everything up!
Retro_Link Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Tomb Raider is £19.99 on PSN until March 31st in the Easter sale.
Retro_Link Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 The new Tomb Raider?Indeed! Like the 12 Days of Christmas... The Playstation Store Egg Hunt Offer 2: Tomb Raider Was €59.99/£49.99, now €29.99/£19.99 Valid until 11.59am 31st March
Magnus Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 It'd be funny if they wanted £19.99 for the first Tomb Raider, though.
Daft Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 OMG, staaahp! This is like the time I couldn't stop buying stuff off Steam. £20 is pretty goooood, though. Aaargh.
Magnus Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 It's only £5 more on Amazon, if that makes holding off on buying it easier.
Daft Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I'm too much of a sucker for a quick fix. ...But I'm going to attempt to resist by playing BioShock and reminding myself I need to compete Ni No Kuni.
Retro_Link Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I'm really tempted seeing as I have £19.something worth of Credit! :p But I wanted to spend that on PSN/indie games really... but hmm.
Cube Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Annoyingly, I saw the Killzone HD and inFamous: Festival of Blood offer two minutes after it had ended.
Rowan Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 While waiting for Okami I've tackled my backlog and did Infamous as evil. Going on a rampage on the evil missions are enjoyable and it's worth seeing how the game pans out after choosing the alternate decisions particularly near the end.
Retro_Link Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Third Easter Special PlayStation Europe @PlayStationEU Today’s PS Store Easter Egg Hunt offer: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale - was €49.99/£39.99, now €19.99/£15.99

Babooo Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hey guys, just wanted your opinions on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. This is the first in the Uncharted series and I am yet to play 2 and 3, but this first outing is so frustrating. Enemies take a ridiculous amount of bullets to die, repeating waves upon waves of enemies to kill, clumsy controls in platforming and physical combat is atrocious. I've just finished the jet ski level which was also ridiculous. Jet skiing up a downward stream, with you having to control the jet ski (awful, awful controls there) as well as shooting enemies? I meant, WTF? Then the game throws those silly exploding barrels at you to make life even more frustrating. Now, I don't mind a challenge but this game is just downright frustrating. I've heard the series does improve, but does anyone else share these thoughts on the fist game?
drahkon Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) This is the first in the Uncharted series and I am yet to play 2 and 3, but this first outing is so frustrating. Enemies take a ridiculous amount of bullets to die, repeating waves upon waves of enemies to kill, clumsy controls in platforming and physical combat is atrocious. Doesn't change in the other games. They only get more spectacular. Play the second installment and then stop, unless you only want more of the same with slightly prettier graphics. Games are quite good but still overrated. ReZ and dwarf will probably rape kill me now. Edited April 1, 2013 by drahkon
Magnus Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I found the combat really frustrating in the first game and much better in the sequels - plus the mix between platforming and combat is much better. No idea what Dr4khon is on about.
ReZourceman Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I really enjoyed the first, but its no comparison to the others.
Happenstance Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 2 was brilliant. I cant really decide which I disliked more though, 1 or 3. Probably liked 3 the least I guess.
bryanee Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 2>1>>>>GA>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3 I really don't like the third game, they cocked up the aiming and the level design was just bad for the most part. They have thankfully patched in new aiming to make it more like the second game.
Cube Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I didn't notice any difference in the aiming. I pointed at people and shot them.
