Slaggis Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Went back to the docs today, the finally put me on steroids. I have to take them for a week, and apparently this whole feeling like death thing will be gone. Then I can get back to revising....Oh shit.
ReZourceman Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Hey guys, quick question. I've recently gotten back in to collecting Pokemon cards but need a folder to keep 'em safe. Any suggestions or ideas on where to get a folder? I got back into recently too (and have since stopped again) anyway my tip is buy second hand, ie ebay or singles from shops. The only thing even worth any kind of money these days are Level X cards, and although opening boosters is fun its honestly just like throwing money away. Folder wise, the standard is ultra pro, with the built in sleeves. I've personally gone for just a standard folder as the others said from WHSmith, with the Ultrapro sleeves which are 25p each from specialist stores, or x amount for lots from online.

My sister and mum were seriously ill this holiday (hospital involved etc) with pneumonia (the mild version), and they were both on steroids. It should help, but in my experience, isn't a miracle cure in all cases.
Letty Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I bought some of those deep heat pad things for Jordan's back today, and I took one and they're sooo warm!! Its on my belly *warm*
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I've been siiiick for the last few days. Headaches, blocked nose and just exhaustedness. My head felt like it was being crushed, at one point. Also, in school, one of the girls said to me: "sirrrrr..." "yes...." "Sir, lots of girls fancy you. But, don't take this the wrong way, but I don't see it, myself." "Aww, that's ok. Thanks." "Byebye." I don't know whether to laugh, cry or feel terrified. I spent all 5 lessons today with the same year 7 class, doing role plays. When you're ill, this is not as fun as it could be. Owwwwww. I need a nurse.
Ganepark32 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 @ Letty - o.O .... Deep heat is evil! It burnt my shoulder when some paramedic put it on me after I broke my collar bone. Said it would make it less painful yet started to burn. Had to wash it off.

Raining_again Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Ganepark, maybe your allergic to it? I've used deep heat MANY many times in every variety available, I've got a severe skin condition, but it never bothers me!

Nolan Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Been playing lots o Audiosurf. It's really fun btw.
Fierce_LiNk Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 What do you teach again? Tell me a funny subject and I'll laugh and e-pat you on the back for it. My course allows me to teach in a Primary School (so, everything!) or English in a Secondary School. In this case, it's in a Secondary School. An All-Girl's School, too. Yeah, they eat me alive.

Fierce_LiNk Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Oh wow, so are you like...qualified to teach A-Level English and stuff? I can feel a clap forming between my hands. Not at the moment, as I've still not finished my course. I am one of those silly Student Teachers. SST's they call us. Silly Student Teachers. Not recognised yet, but it will be. My course runs specifically from the 7-14 age range, but you can do GCSE and up to A-Level, although I might need to do some extra work to enable me to do that. Although, Primary is where I wanna be. Secondary is different, and has it's positives, but I'm destined for Primary.

It's just that I can't imagine my A-Level English teachers being members of N-Europe! You could bring a youthful spark to the subject.
