Today was alright. Psychology lectures are actually interesting now, all about individual differences. Apart from that, though, I'm feeling lowsy. Something I ate yesterday is really doing a number on me. Really feeling crap. Hopefully it goes away over the weekend as I have the house to myself as my parents are away at a Cat Show in Barnsley.

All my Blu-ray stuff arrived today, filled in a registration form and am getting Casino Royale and Batman Begins on Blu-Ray sometime soon for free.

All set up nice as well. Only problem is how to wire both the 360 and Blu-Ray to one HDMI port, but that seems to be ok now after i enquired about it earlier.

Other than that, its been a great day. End of the week tomorrow then i get a lovely 3 day weekend.

ReZourceland Chapter One (On LBP) is nearing completion. I think t'will be what professionals call "sicko bitch pussy froth awesome"

Awwww yeaaaaah.

Other than that, watched some Family Guy extras which were actually really good (Mila Kunis looks so hot these days) and erm I'm pretty hot. Pretty hot guy. Been pretty hot the past few days actually. Hmmmm.

Need to chill it naw. Watch a lil' tv then chill wit some musicz.

I don't think my lecturer brought my "if I don't care about anything I wipe it all from memory" answer when he asked me what I thought about Tuesday's film. Its true though.

Got results from my presentation on Monday; a 'C'. Which is apparently good (2nd best so he says) but I could do with boosting it up with the next essay.

Think that has been my day by and large.

Watched some more The Shield. Managed to watch season five in two days, season six arrived this mornings so I've been watching that.

Also had my interview back at Sainsbury's. They have this DVD you have to watch and for the first part number what's the best/worst in the scenario's shown. Write what's wrong with other scenario's and then mention your values. With no neutral option. Took about 45 minutes, then came the face to face interview, what a crock of shit. But my contacts and previous experience there should help me out a bit.

Plus I found out a mate who works there also plowed someone else there whom I wanted to plowings. I told him I was disappointed and slammed an appropriate Arnie quote his way. He even knew what it was.

My day:

I went to uni. I went home. I went to uni. I went home and did work. I went to the pub. I walked home. I got upset.

Yay ^_^.

lol, there's not enough days in a week.

edit: woo lets add more. Not feeling so good again, started developing another headache, had one nearly everyday this week and most of last week. Not good. Getting upset doesn't help, with the headache nor do anything else, except annoy me, because why on earth should I get upset, it wasn't a massively bad day.

bleh bleh bleh.

Aww, have a hug.

*hugs*

Hope your headache leaves you soon!

My day has been quite good! Staying home was a great decision, heh. Ended up watching 4 X-Files episodes (finally made it to season 5, whooo!), one from Pushing Daisies and the final episode of Dexter, season 1. =D

Also finished an illustration so yay. And did some stuff around the house. Good day. =)

And no class tomorrow (cancelled!), so I get to repeat it if I want! Except instead of Pushing Daisies and Dexter I get to watch some Desperate Housewives. Awesome!

I really need to get this worrying stuff under control, no wonder I get so many headaches. Any ideas on how to calm down?

Well I guess it might depend on what the worries are about. But if you just want to clear your head, these are some things that I sometimes do:

- indulge in yummy food, especially chocolate =P

- just do something completely different, like watching a ton of your favourite tv series, or listening to your favourite music and focusing on that and nothing else (or like, dance to it like crazy, helps to get rid of some tension!)

- sleep!

- take a nice warm bath or shower where you just try to relax =)

- talk to people you like and who want to listen to you

- go for a walk, preferably in a green area

Ehhh, I'm sure there's more things but yeah. It really depends on what can calm you down, which changes from person to person. =)

calming down is pretty easy when you have the technique.

-breath slowly, take deep breaths, shake your arms. and keep your eyes closed, takes a couple of seconds, i do it to focus, especialy before somthing physical.

-exercise. most modernday stress is born of our inability to deal with stressors in the fight or flight response. a bit of exercise will use some of this energy and relase endorphines.

-find an activity to absorb yourself in. i find, when stressed its good to find something to fall completly into, reading a book uses most of the mental space youd use to worry (or i find that any way, cant think while im reading, only take in the words. video games can also help, either somthing like advance wars, amking you think hard, or somthing that dosent let you think cos of intense action. i also like to oil my swords when stressed, i totaly forget anything outher then the cold steel infront of me, and thats probebly a good thing when its so sharp.

-masterbate/sex. best stress relife there is. even if you dont feel in the mood, an orgasm will relave stress. tried and tested medical fact.

-laugh. watch somthing funny, laughing is good cos its a great exercise, and makes you feel happy.

-happy place. find some were comfortable and visit a happy memory, or if you dont have to many (like me) imagine somthing. sounds kinda childish but if im stressed i just imagine a story, imagine being somewhere else, being some one else and just giving in to fantasy. i actualy hope to write down one of the fatasys as a book.

thats the nature of stress. stressers are percived as much bigger problems then they actualy are. i tend to see things as to small a problem. i swear, ive got the attitude of a total stoner yet ive only twice touched the stuff.

in related news, i manage to be very unstressed for someone who realises that there life is such a mess. maybe im just to lethargic from depression to really notice that im stressed or even depressed.

Unfortunetly I can't help seeing it that way, never really been sure why, I never used to be. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't cause me headaches and whatnot!

well, i have the problem of never taking things seriosuly, if i did, i assure you id be dead, either from stress or by my own hand.

you just have to find what works for you, channel it out, disstract your self for a few mins every day, think things through logicaly and objectivly. what ever you find works for you stick with it.

if you need distraction go to http://www.addictinggames.com sure to find somthing to disstract you. channeling is best in exercise or art. id recomend disstraction, it should also help the head ache.

Oh I've got my fair share of things to do, it's just whilst playing or reading or watching etc my mind is still ticking. Even when I'm trying to sleep I lie there for 20minutes thinking about day dreaming so I can drift off.

It's pretty ridiculous.

When I have a problem I tend to stress out and over think the problem even if its actually minute. I'm also become over paranoid about people as well, drives me mad yet I can't stop doing it.

Unfortunate to hear you're upset Nightwolf have a free hug :) *passes free hug coupon*

Sometimes when I'm really really stressed and the problem(s) won't go away, I write out exactly what problem(s) I'm having, which in turn (for me anyway) makes me realise its not that bad. I have shared my list before with someone and they gave me various solutions. I just stood there and wondered why I hadn't thought of that!

As for me, I have finished some work so I don't need to work over weekend. Packed my bag, and changed my bedding. Sweet. Now for a 1 hour lecture and 4 hours of work and then I am off home.

This weekend will comprise of:

Visiting my girl to see as she is ill and I think she would appreciate me coming to look after her and see how she is. Then I'm off to a party :)

Going to go shopping for a ski helmet but I might tell the parents I'd prefer to purchase university ski helmet because it will look cooler :p And on the Sunday I shall be resting, relaxing and doing fook all! Hopefully a nice family dinner.

Also can't wait to drive, didn't realise I love driving so much :)

Its a cliche but gin usually helps me in times of stress. Or seclusion...to be honest what gave me most stress was Game and so simply leaving there at the end of the day helped distance me (usually, never know what phonecall I may get from them still). So I suppose distance?

And similarly; moping. I tend to just give myself a day to endulge in it. To overthing and worry about it. To kick myself. To wallow. All the other verbs that come with. And then just let it pass the next day.

Overthinking/worrying is my biggest emotional issue.

Dom, in my experience, you're fairly low down the scale on the old 'hand-eye coordination' thing... I have memories of Halo 3...

Thanks ^_^, meh worrying about nothing as per usual (which is very good btw ^_^).

I'll give a few a try. Eevil, if I did that I'd be a lonely horrible motherfucker. PASS!

Just because you don't worry about stuff doesn't make you horrible, nor will it make you lonely.

On another note since I believe my potentially fake copy of Hell's Kitchen was fucked so I could never get a perfect score I bought a normal version from Toys R' Us. Tried it out and pretty much got the same result on I think a different level. I was a complete pro and took the wrapping off so professionally you wouldn't know, I buggered up a bit but I've got it back into the wrapping, complete with a bit of sellotape and it looks untouched. I'm going to take it back sometime soon and ask for a refund, say it was a double gift or something.

Also, the time I bought it, I also bought a large Beystadium for my Beyblades for 16p. You heard correctly. Sixteen English Pence. Marked down from 26p. It's larger than the one I've got and I'll probably never use it, possibly with my niece and nephew. A fucking bargain.
