Zell Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Uber win. TS2 was one of the best games of last generation. Although I did find TSFP slightly disappointing.
Kurtle Squad Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 wahey! i loved TSFP. still playing it multiplayer with my friends actually.... cant wait for TS4.... NINJA MONKEY FTW!! The 2nd one's better overall. I've never really liked the TS series. If i do buy it, it'll be tough to decide between sexy HD graphics with great analouge control and perfect Wii control and alright graphics. Hmph. Yeah...But like all the games so far it'll probably end up best on the 360/PS3.
Blue_Ninja0 Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 AWESOME!! And I though this was PS3 excluive. I love Time Splitters! Better than Halo IMO. Bring it on!
The fish Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 If there is a god, I'm taking this chance to openly thank him! Thanks, Bobbo! (I'm not sure why he's called Bobbo, I think it's to do with Scrubs... )
Demuwan Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I was literally dreamed this last night. Seriously. *I swear if Burnout Wii gets announced I don't know what I'll do*
Konfucius Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Free Radical FPS + Wiimote. Can it get any better? Yes well it certainly can but I'm sure they'll set the bar high.
Aalborg Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 ts2 was so much fun.. loved all the challenges and the crazy charachters.. Handyman.. ha ha.. and that torched guy.. wasnt he called crispy? And the one where you have to shoot a shitload of ducks
mcj metroid Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I've never really liked the TS series. If i do buy it, it'll be tough to decide between sexy HD graphics with great analouge control and perfect Wii control and alright graphics. Hmph. youd choose graphics over controls? we all know wii shooters are going to have better controls. but im so excited for this game.
Maiky-NiSuTe Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Lovely! i loved all previos games of FreeRadical i hope they will use the metroid controle style !!
D-Day Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 I was literally dreamed this last night. Seriously. *I swear if Burnout Wii gets announced I don't know what I'll do* I second that burnout comment . This is fantastic news, I was a huge TS2 fan and to see TS4 coming to Wii brings me nothing but joy. It looks like they are rolling out
tomma1000 Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 surely burnout will come 2 wii as it has such a big portion of the market now
Zechs Merquise Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 surely burnout will come 2 wii as it has such a big portion of the market now I agree, especially as EA has done so well with Need For Speed on the Wii.
Mikey Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 DUKE NUKEM FOREVER next? That's not coming out for any system ever.
Zechs Merquise Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 That's not coming out for any system ever. Too right. The embarrassing thing about that game is it still keeps getting picked up by publishers and money keeps getting thrown at the development team. I mean imagine if you came up with an idea, never showed anything off to do with it for years, no screens, no vids, no release date and yet people kept throwing money at you. It's truly pathetic. 3D Realms are a joke. They even have a very silly forum on their site where deluded fans discuss what the final product will be like - they'll be discussing the issue until it is officially canned, which sadly will only be when gullible publishers finally pull the plug on its funding.
Deathborn Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 http://www.frd.co.uk/timesplitters4/videos.php
Haden Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 http://www.frd.co.uk/timesplitters4/videos.php rofl thats classic. Man I was just playing perfect dark and thinking man I want a good fps on the wii maybe this will be it! I wonder if any announcements about red steel 2 will be made soon as well. Wii control wise is now surely the natural home of first person shooters.
Zechs Merquise Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 http://www.frd.co.uk/timesplitters4/videos.php That is truly awesome! I actually laughed.
system_error Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I can't find any notes on the Free Radical homepage which says "Available for Wii". Only thing is TimeSplitters 4 (NextGen Platforms) - TBA. And from my knowledge NextGen Plattforms mostly means PS3/360 and NOT Wii. Any other proof that its coming to the Wii? IGN: NOTE: This project has been officially announced but not confirmed for any specific platform -- the game may or may not be released for this platform. Please check back for official info.
tapedeck Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Indeed, could be rumour. I can't see Free Radicals love for Nintendo ending all of a sudden afer Timesplitters coming to the cube though. The level editor would be a PERFECT fit for Wii God I love that feature.
mcj metroid Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I can't wait for this game. I love timeplitters to bits. level editor over wii24 BELIEVE!
Kurtle Squad Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I'd get it for the 360 even if it did come out on the Wii; it'd have a decent online system, better graphics and would add to my gamerscore.
Noku Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I'd get it for the 360 even if it did come out on the Wii; it'd have a decent online system, better graphics and would add to my gamerscore. But it'll have analogue sticks for guns. And as such (in my opinion), it'll suck compared to the Wii version, even if the latter were in 8 bit.
Maiky-NiSuTe Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 take a look at there pols!! http://www.frd.co.uk and you will see a lot of Wii love and i am sure that they will look at that to!! so if you are visiting Free Radical ( http://www.frd.co.uk ) than make sure you vote on Wii to!!
Blue_Ninja0 Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Please let this come to the Wii. I love this series. MOH: Heroes 2 proved that the Wii can have a decent online FPS and the Wiimote controls for FPS can only be beaten by a mouse so I would really be happy to see this on Wii.
Iun Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Timesplitters 2 is probably my favourite FPS ever. But I could never design single player levels that were challenging enough for me. Multiplayer rocked, especially capture the flag in that base set in a ravine with two buildings at either end. Man.
