Caris Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Dom's got the picture. The N64 was a fucking excellent machine. Hel it was a amazing few years of my childhood...
Domstercool Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I remember Warzone! I had that game on the psx and it worked pretty good on it too. Good stuff! I enjoyed this game loads too! Great stuff!
Mr.X Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Blues Brother 2000 for N64 great game shame I think I was the only one who bought it.
mcj metroid Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 there was an awful lot of underated n64 games I felt. Anyway remmeber the best micromachines game ever?
chrizkerr2 Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Loved it, pure and simple. Also: Picked mine up for a fiver, got pretty bad reviews, Shadow Hearts 2 was a major improvement but I stilled enjoyed the first (Still have yet to get all the damn Fusions! Always forget to pick up the porn mag in disc 1) Game now goes for 20+ quid on Ebay, but Iam gunna hang on to mine
Mr.X Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 If you think about it there has been loads of character franchises that should be brought back to life.
mcj metroid Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Nobody needs to mention bubsy 3d do they? ha yes the 2d ones were enjoyable If a little typical 16bit era. This and acme allstars was great. one of my favourite license games. Great megadrive game this was.
Cube Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Awesome game! Sounds ace. None of those "character", "story", "setting" or "reason" gimmicks that other games have...just call it what it is. Would be perfect were it not for the fact that it's much more of an "Action Driver/Pilot" (or even "Action Vehicle User") than "Action Fighter"
Daft Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 I'm not sure how popular this was but I f*cking loved it!! If this came out on the VC I would buy it in a second!
mcj metroid Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 thats pod racer right. grrr i remember that. i think it looked like shit without the expansions pack though. everyone seemed to own the game.. I never got why.
Tales Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 My second game ever. I had a lot of fun with it. I loved these games. I played Spyro the most on PS1, but I had a lot of fun with these too. There was a third game I played a lot on PS1 except the Spyro games. It was based on a animation movie and was about a bug. I don't remember the name.
Daft Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 thats pod racer right. grrr i remember that. i think it looked like shit without the expansions pack though. everyone seemed to own the game.. I never got why. It was the Episode 1 hype! I never played it without the expansion pack...I had two, one from Turok 2 the other from Majora's Mask. It was an awesome game and the sound effects were great!
Dog-amoto Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 Spellcaster for Master System Superfrog on Amiga
Roostophe Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Fighters Destiny was a game I obsessed over years ago. It's rubbish now, but it was great back then. Grandia II is one of the best RPG's I've ever played. But I've only ever met one person who has played it.
ViPeR Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I think this was essentially a NES version of Ninja Gaiden but it was so friggen hardcore. If anyone can complete this, kudos to them. Loved this game, fly around shooting shit and picking up hostages. Awesome. Very bizarre, very early RAREWARE game. Also incredibly hard, never completed and still can't to this day. 2nd best Zelda imo. Incredibly under-rated. Classic hardcore platforming and ninja star throwing action.
Daft Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 2nd best Zelda imo. Incredibly under-rated. Ditto, second best after Majora's Mask imo. OOT is third but thats a personal preference and since they are as near to perfection as humanly possible its all good!!
Dilli Gee Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I loved this game, but it wasn't particularly popular.
Anolis E Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Anyone remember Landstalker for the Genesis / Mega Drive? Never really got the impression a lot of people played it, although it was somewhat of a cult hit I believe.
Sheikah Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 What could be better than jumping on the back of pigs.
mcj metroid Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 What could be better than jumping on the back of pigs. i love you for mentioning this.. it's crimally underated
Mikey Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RD79TNbPHl0 Cool spot Alex the kid. LOL, yes, I loved that game. Remember playing it on the Master System years ago when it was built in to the system. Good times.
The Bard Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Colony Wars on the PS1. That game was pure amazement.
