  1. Resident Evil 5

I would say North Africa, because of the Islamic chanting, but really it could be anywhere. My prediction is probably Southern Africa - it might not be geographically accurate, but it's the least likely to kick a fuss, and is the only way to realistically have a mix of races in the game.
  2. Resident Evil 5

Hylian King, you need to pick your diction a bit better (e.g. "Blacks"). This racism debate is over the top. But I still think Capcom only chose to set in Africa because darker people are harder to see in the dark/shadows.
  3. What's your Wii mag of choice?

Edge, for its reports and journalism. For news and reviews, that's why God invented the internet. On-top of the latest news, it also comes with video.
  4. Resident Evil 5

I read somewhere the reason they picked Africa was purely down to black people being some-what hard to see in harsh shadows, making the game scarier. But whatever, I don't really care. Except the black people aren't zombies. They all look pretty normal. But when they die, they melt into black goo.
  5. It's Pokemon Online, Nintendo's first Pay to Play MMORPG.
  6. Oh okay. In that case, I don't think Xbox 360 makes a profit from its hardware sales. Even if it is cheaper to make one now, a 360 originally had a loss of £150. It can't be that much of a difference today. Maybe they only just break even?
  7. I think they started making a profit in 2006. Even back then they had a ratio of 5 games sold per console. Now it's 7 games per console (i.e. the average Xbox 360 owner will have 7 games for it). For the Wii and PS3 it's only 3 games per console, so Microsoft are definitely making the most profits from their games.
  8. It's quite the opposite, especially in manga. Battle Royale and Akira spring to mind. Both featured naked minors, in sexual situations. Although it's hand drawn, it's still a 14/15 year old girl getting shagged/raped/whatever, by grown men. It plays on the same emotions as child pornography.
  9. 360 price cut, a few questions...

Yep. It can also be used as a monitor if it has DVI too (using a DVI/VGA adapter).
  10. Wild Earth: African Safari

New trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/30837.html I'm at a loss for words with this title. The gameplay seems to be lifted from Pokemon Snap, which is fine with me because I really love that game, but the graphics are pure crap. At the same time, it might be 2008's Endless Ocean, which was fantastic.
  11. Wild Earth: African Safari

    It's fine.
  12. Wii Pay & Play

Charging per game is a bit random on Nintendo's behalf.
  13. Wild Earth: African Safari

God knows. If it was, it wasn't a funny one.
  14. Wild Earth: African Safari

    WTF? Loser.
  15. Wild Earth: African Safari

Yes. But I am a changed man now.
  16. Wild Earth: African Safari

It isn't always about graphics. It must be something worthwhile, cos' Playstation are copying the same idea: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/25149.html
  17. Gears Of War 2

The face of/spokesperson for Microsoft Xbox, and its sister brands (like Zune).
  18. Star Wars Unleashed a little less

If the Wii controls make all the difference, I'll make mine Wii. Other-wise PS3/Xbox 360.
  19. Kingdom hearts - But with Nintendo Characters...?

Like the idea. A bit like a Super Smash Bros. RPG.
  20. PlayStation 3 Console Discussion

Getting a PS3 in March when I'm in the US. I think it was the Blu-ray player being the best on the market that sold it for me, and the barrage of games just around the corner. Also, that the games are region-free. Big plus!
  21. Goldeneye on Xbox Live Arcade, for its 10th Anniversary, with added online multiplayer mode. Microsoft wanted it. Rare were making it. MGM endorsed it. THQ wanted to release it. Nintendo would have profited too, if they consented to the project. The deal would also have allowed for Goldeneye Online on the Wii's Virtual Console, as well as every other Rare game before the Rare takeover - Banjo and Perfect Dark included. But what does Nintendo do? They refuse. Meaning we'll probably never see a re-release of Goldeneye for years now. And trust N-Europe to completely avoid reporting on this debacle.
  22. Gotta love N-Europe's complete bias...

From my understand this was a site that reported all aspects Nintendo. Both the positive and the negative. If it was made with the intention of spinning for Nintendo, then apologies.
  23. Gotta love N-Europe's complete bias...

I'll stop bitching now. It's not that I'm ungrateful for the amount of work and effort the writers/moderators put into the site and its forum, but N-Europe is becoming more-and-more just an extension of Nintendo's PR arm. Always positive, with a smile on its face. Failing to address the fundamental flaws of the Wii, such as the uninspired online play, or the severe lack of quality, original titles. Just my personal opinion. I knew posting this thread I would be immediately black-listed, so the fact I posted it anyway should hopefully mean something. Aside from leaked photos, leaked video and an official statement by Microsoft, as well as thousands of fans signing petitions for Nintendo to reconsider, nope. No new developments.
  24. Gotta love N-Europe's complete bias...

Did I say that was the issue? My problem is comments like "stay tuned to N-Europe for the latest on this web of rights, secrets, and LIES" yet not following up on it, which I assumed is so not to actually show Nintendo in the correct light.
  25. Gotta love N-Europe's complete bias...

Fair dos, I'm an over-reacting ass. Rumoured screen: Leaked footage:
