EEVILMURRAY Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 As the title suggests, I am asking for assistance in removing this newly acquired piece of flab that has aborned around my torso area. Being a student has now raped me in a way I didn't think possible. I'd like to rectify the situation. Does anyone have any tips [apart from "stop drinking/drink less" bullshit] as it's already under consideration, any exercises etc?
Platty Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 There is no way to get rid of it. I have just learned to love mine
Problematique Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Play a healthy mixture of rugby, badminton, American Football and Gaelic Football. But don't go to the drinks. They're a killer.
Goron_3 Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Well you need to burn of the fat, so you know, lots of running (get sweaty!). Don't have too many fatty foods; instead, have lots of fruit and water. Also, to build up some muscle on your stomach, go for about 50-60 sit ups a day. To help burn some calories aswell do push ups, they make a lot of difference.
Ellmeister Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Either go get some surgery, or get really really drunk and carry a knife in your pocket.. the next day you might be dead, or have a normal belly with a scar! Also Push-ups do help!
EEVILMURRAY Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 On some inspiration from Dragonball Z I bought some Ankle/Wrist weights about a month ago. They're gonna help pr0. BUY THEM YOURSELVES FUCKERS!
Gaijin von Snikbah Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Run on the spot lifting your knees up to waist level. Do this 5 minutes a day and the belly will be gone in a month.
Wesley Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Push ups help? Really? Hmm.. Doing press ups properly requires a straight back which means that you strain your stomach; thus strengthening your stomach.
Dan_Dare Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 do sit ups. The muscles exercised are right under your beer gut, thusly turning it in to tensile goodness
Goron_3 Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Push-ups involve lifting your body weight, therefore you gonna lose a lot of fat. if you wanna get rid of a beer belly, do a lot of running or cycling. The most important thing is to burn fat.
theguyfromspark Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 What I did: Stop Drinking non diet soft drinks and Use a Excercise Bike for 45 minutes while watching 24, Heroes or Battlestar Galactica I did that for 3 months and I lost 2 stones. What I then did: Sat on my arse all day playing games and drinking beer I did that for 1 month and put most of it back on.
Rummy Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Apparently running is actually really good excercise, go for a few runs a day and keep it up for a while, or even forever, as it'll keep you fit overall anyway. It's ideal to avoid too much fatty or high carbohydrate stuff and try and get lots of proteins, as proteins help muscle growth but carbohydrate and fat(obviously) don't help much in losing weight. I think, I'm really not 100% sure of what I'm saying, but I think it makes sense(as unused energy is converted to fat for storage). Simplest way would be to try and limit your calories you're taking in, effectively dieting. In theory, cutting out the beer should do that, though be warned any changes that are only temporary will probably only have temporary effects.
EEVILMURRAY Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 It's true. I do. I see no problem with it.
The Bard Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Stop drinking beer, drink high percentage alcs instead, less carbohydrate = fewer calories.
EEVILMURRAY Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 That's the double edged sword right there. I'm technically not allowed to drink much, since I'm an alcohol induced epileptic. Great thing for a student to have.
Blackfox Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I too have your concern frére Murray, i have developed a prototype mini-gut. I'm worried I wont be able to fit into tux trousers come Saturday >
EEVILMURRAY Posted June 1, 2007 Author Posted June 1, 2007 Well since I have finally got my brother to buy me a new bike [prick] I can finally get back into some exercise. I actually may be buying some riding gloves tomorrow, since it's been ages since I rode I actually gave my right hand a blister due to changing gears and shit.
4q2 Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Attain a mad metabolism and stop eating properly for a few weeks. Works for me
Marshmellow Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I tried not eating breakfast once when my belly almost got to the point where I couldn't even see my own cock anymore...But I got headaches and then I just did sit-ups, push-ups, and wanked.
triforcemario Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 You have two choices: A) Masturbate 20 times a day (you may notice one arm getting considerbly larger than the other). B) Buying a machete... Well, you can guess the rest.
