Daft Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 This is probably the place to ask this: How reliable is buying tickets from touts on the day of the gig? Is it a REALLY stupid idea??
chairdriver Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 *Holds tickets to Tegan and Sara in his hands* *Wins*
Hem Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Wow. Pretty fucking special. Easily their best album. Why oh why didn't I go see this tour.
Daft Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Wow. Pretty fucking special. Easily their best album. Why oh why didn't I go see this tour. By the time I realised they were playing in London they were sold out! Did you get the special edition version in the book?

Twozzok Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 My musical taste is going backwards. I've started to listen to Initial D Eurobeat like i did in 2004... Noizy Tribe! You're My Noizy Tribe!
Eenuh Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Wow. Pretty fucking special. Easily their best album. Why oh why didn't I go see this tour. The album is great. Wish I could see them live once in my life. I'm listening to what is apparently supposed to be the Japanese version of the album (at least according to my dad), but I don't really notice a difference? But then again I don't know the song order from the French one by heart. Tried looking up on Google if there's a difference but can't find anything. Oh well, it rocks. *dances*
Beardy Man Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 MY ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE! MULTI TRACK DRIFTING! Initial D IS the power...2004! great memories...also listened to it at the time: peace:

MoogleViper Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 Reverend and The Makers are truly awesome. Easily the best album of 2007.

Jimz Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Reverend and The Makers are truly awesome. Easily the best album of 2007. They're good but I don't think its the album of 2007. My favourite song right now = Despite never playing that game (DAMN YOU SHITTY LAPTOP) I love that song.
Oxigen_Waste Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Reverend and The Makers are truly awesome. Easily the best album of 2007. What?
Roostophe Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I sorta forgot how brilliant Korn were. After hearing 'Falling Away From Me' on Kerrang, I remembered how awesome they were with the original line-up. (Fucking hell, Head was a brilliant guitarist. Now he's some shitty born-again Christian . And David Silveira was a great drummer.) Their new stuff doesn't have the same brilliance as their first five albums. (I wasn't too keen on Take A Look In The Mirror. It was good, but I think it's the weakest out of the first six albums.) Then I listened to the Untouchables album. And it reminded me of 2002, when I got the Gamecube, and playing Luigi's Mansion and Rogue Leader with the album playing in the background. Nostalgia rules!
Slaggis Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Scouting for Girls make me want to kill everyone single person on earth. Twice.
BeerMonkey Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 one week till seeing KoRn in cardiff Really got into "the wombats" lately really like the song Moving to New York
Paj! Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I finally got new iPod earbuds. For about 2 weeks i'd been using crackly ones with shite sound (they broke). I'm sure apple's own ones are meant to be rubbish, but I didn't know which were best for <£30. At a friends sisters 18th last night I requested Professional Widow by Tori Amos. I love.

Sennheiser CX300 (CX400/CX500 if you could have found them in price. Next time your buds break, buy a set of those.
chairdriver Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Chairdriver, have you heard ? I've heard it now. It's good, although not as good as the original. I prefer the twins' voices. It's cool they got covered by such a popular band though.
Ellmeister Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I was playing that Buzz game last night, and a question about Bjork came on. I got it wrong. I felt I had let Chairdriver down I'm trying to figure out what CD to buy =/
