LukeLee Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 If you want something hard to pronounce, try "ryu" (japanese). It's one syllable, and the "r" is a cross between an "l", an "r" and a bit of "d". lol, i've also been learning japanese so i might be okay there, i'd do better seeing it written in hirgana.
Eddage Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Edd the Duck was great! Ahh the broom cupboard days were decent old after school afternoons, werent they. I was half expecting you to have the same name as me, brother. Indeed he was! Sorry to disappoint you on the name front my snowy friend, sadly I had no say on the choosing of my name!

Isn't there a Swedish sound like that? Some Swedish girl made me pronounce something like that in fyra (four) for the r. She was probably making fun of me though.

Fierce_LiNk Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 My first name is Jamal and I hate it sooooo much. Most people call me Jim, and that's the way I like it. It really annoys the cheese out of me when people call me "jah-mool" or "ja-mole" or something like that. Just call me Jim and have it done with. I blame our parents. It's all their fault. Why couldn't we have temporary names and then choose our names when we were older?
ShadowV7 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I blame our parents. It's all their fault. Why couldn't we have temporary names and then choose our names when we were older? That's an interesting thought. Why don't we make it you post your name and/or what you would like to change your name to. Not much point in making a seperate thread for it so why don't we try it here?
Tellyn Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I would henceforth like to be known as Ebenezer Scrooge.
