Johnny Stichiano Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Cube Europe. And Jordan of course all the good members have their hissy fits...
Kav Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I joined the forum just before the release of the Gamecube when it was Cube-europe.com. I remember I had bought the first issue of Cube magazine that came with the video of to be released Gamecube games, seeing Eternal Darkness and just having to talk to someone about it! After boring my mates (most being avid PSX fanboys... funnily enough, now nearly all have bought a Wii!) to death about it, I had to come online and talk to sane people! Haha! There's been some great threads over the years, and I've really enjoyed my time on the boards, even if I don't post too much! Thanks for all the hard work and greatness guys!
Cube Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I joined soon after N64-Europe changed to Cube-Europe. Was under the name "I_Am_Turok", then later a few more, settling on "DJcube" for a while, then "_Cube" (as "Cube" was taken).
Ten10 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I danced around on the comments posting section of cube-europe which at the time had the manky purple layout. Then decided to actually join the forums sometime into cube-europe.
Blackfox Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Hmm, sometime in the days of CE. I was joining just in the last great days of the Zeikfried Era.
Roostophe Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I first joined C-E in 2002, but I only made 11 posts, my first ever foray into Internet Forums, and it wasn't happy, I think I made a thread about my opinion on the cel-shaded Zelda. To which I got flamed as a "n00b". Forgot my password, didn't come back until September 2003, signed up, never posted... Made a third user profile as Mr_Brightside sometime in June 2004. First post was in the thread for Euro 2004. Was known as Mr_Brightside up until Early 2005 when I became The Villan. Then, upset with the exclusion of post counts on R-E, I became The_Villan854. (854 being my C-E post count), which I kept for a year, when I made over 854 posts, which then the underscore and 854 were dropped, and the rest is history. <- 1st smiley I used.
Mr_Odwin Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I joined CE in January of 2004. My favourite moments all involve my great posts. Since then I've had a miscarriage, finished uni, got a job, moved house, had a baby and moved house again.
Fields Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I joined way back in the early days of C-E, before the Gamecube launched, and the main site had flashing lights and stuff on it. In fact, I'm still using the retro forum theme with the 'your daily chat therapy' tagline.
Eenuh Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Hmmm, I think I visited the main site frequently during the late days of C-E and posted in the comments section there. Didn't actually join the forum (or even really notice it) till the site changed to R-E I think. Or something like that.
Charlie Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Who here remembers: Zeikfried stubbietubbie Spieluhr Gerben? If you remember those guys posting then you are a true '-Europe' legend.
Roostophe Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Who here remembers: Zeikfried stubbietubbie Spieluhr Gerben? If you remember those guys posting then you are a true '-Europe' legend. I remember Stubbietubbie, Spieluhr rings a bell, not sure about Gerben, but Zeikfried definitely not.
EchoDesiato Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I joined somewhere during the last CE year, but didn't post that often.
Mr. Bananagrabber Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 stubbietubbie Spieluhr I remember those two (Stubbie once sent me tons of Misty porn ). They still occasionally post on Darkzero.
Bluejay Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Joined at Cube-Europe. Not sure when or why exactly. Was first called Hyrule but changed my name to Stocka shortly after. Hyrule was a better name. This thread is sickening. Too much love being hurled around.
BeerMonkey Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Who here remembers: Zeikfried stubbietubbie Spieluhr Gerben? If you remember those guys posting then you are a true '-Europe' legend. i remember zeik and spiel and also gerben. speil was that fat german kid that had rammstien sigs yea?
Charlie Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I remember Stubbietubbie, Spieluhr rings a bell, not sure about Gerben, but Zeikfried definitely not. Spieluhr was the spammer extreme, can't really remember what else he did, but I can remember him. Gerben was the co-founder and admin here.
Bluejay Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Who here remembers: Zeikfried stubbietubbie Spieluhr Gerben? If you remember those guys posting then you are a true '-Europe' legend. I remember them. but I wasn't posting when they were here, apart from Stubbietubbie. I think because lots of hilarious old threads got linked and I read them, perhaps.
Supergrunch Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Who here remembers: Zeikfried stubbietubbie Spieluhr Gerben? If you remember those guys posting then you are a true '-Europe' legend. Mm, I remember them. Though I can't remember stubbietubbie's personality... remind me.
Dyson Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Yep, I'm a C-E'er. I used to be called splan160. Annual wanking thread anyone? Good times! Edit: I remember Zeikfreid.
Charlie Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Mm, I remember them. Though I can't remember stubbietubbie's personality... remind me. Spam-a-rama.
Fields Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I remember all the names Moria mentioned apart from stubbietubbie, never heard of him. I remember Zeikfried, but only because he was part of that stupid fucking 'uber 1337s' thing where had various childish little clans. Actually, I think that was why I left in the end.
Jimbob Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Joined well back when this site was known as Cube Europe.
MoogleViper Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Who here remembers: Zeikfried stubbietubbie Spieluhr Gerben? If you remember those guys posting then you are a true '-Europe' legend. The first two names sound pretty familiar. the third one rings a bell. Don't think I know the fourth one though.
