Wesley Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Why is everyone getting hair cuts. Is everyone mocking me with stylish cuts? I look like some sort of Polski. Actually, when I was younger and got a number 2 I used to look like a thuggish Polski. Now I've gained more weight (belly and moobs) and have glasses I just look like an egg.
Daft Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Well it was the academy so my hair was being cut by a student and they kept getting advice from their teacher and they took their time when cutting. It took a long time but I got pr0 advice on my hair and only paid £5. Win win, if you ask me. Plus, I have Fridays off at university so I had the time.
Raining_again Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 better than them taking no time and you being really unhappy with the cut. And you helped them cause they obviously learned a lot! So its pretty much win win. Yay!
Solo Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I actually have a purchase query, I very much would like to get my hands on the t-shirt Seth Rogen wears in Funny People. It's the one with the Superman logo morphed into the Jewish symbol. I think it's like superjew or something. Anyone know of places/sites?
Ashley Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Ummm.... http://www.google.co.uk/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=superjew+shirt&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
Daft Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 better than them taking no time and you being really unhappy with the cut. And you helped them cause they obviously learned a lot! So its pretty much win win. Yay! Yeah, it's great. It's also quite nice they spend so long because you feel like they put more effort into it. The girl who cut my hair was pretty excellent. And again, only £5!
Ganepark32 Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Today's Purchases: Dragon Age: Origins (360) Borderlands (360) All on store credit in good ol' Gamestation seeing as I had £126. Still have plenty left as well.
Wesley Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Advent 4211-C Case. Around £200. Present for girlfriend. ... I also broke her old laptop.
nekunando Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I got this today! Super Mario Galaxy I envy those of you who are only getting to play through Super Mario Galaxy for the first time! It is such a wonderful game (quite possibly my favourite of all time.. it's certainly up there somewhere ) and, although I have done everything there is to do in it, one of the things I am most looking forward to in the next couple of years with the Wii is actually playing through it all again. I love it so much Enjoy it, Haden : peace:
welsh_gamer Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 £199 from Gamestation. Might sell Forza and Halo - can probably get just above £20 each for them.
lostmario Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I might be interested in Forza, how much you want for it? I saw a poster in game, trade in Modern Warfare & Halo ODST and get MW2 for £4.99
Paj! Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 £3.04 for 3 discs, pretty decent. I hate, I slept through when another Cd I was bidding on went, and it was like 20p more than my max bid.
ReZourceman Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 I bought like 6 Christmas presents today! Really happy. But they're boring, so I'll just show my shit. Had a list of about 4 games, but didn't find any/found no cheap DS games today. Shame. You may not be able to see the Twinkie (omg, never tried one. Want to see what the fuss ~if any~ is about) and a soap from Lush. Angels Delight. Ftwetcbbqwtf. The gacha's are Mario Kart Wii (Got Luigi Bike, DK kart and Toad Kart) and The newest Pokemon Danglers. Got Pikachu first and screamed bloody murder (DOES HE REALLY NEED TO BE IN EVERY DAMN SET?!) and then got Magnezone and screamed epic win! Magnezone FTWz. And my hat is awesome. I LOVE THE FUCKING COLOUR COMBINATION.
Raining_again Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Bought some Weightwatchers sparkling white wine, and some Carolans, after the offy manager let me try some. Yummers. Like baileys with honey. I'm gonna enjoy this! ^_^ I also bought my mum some sparkling rosé <3
Wesley Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 SNippy SNIppy SNIPpy SNIPPy SNIPPY SNIP! I love seeing your purchase posts. I bought £10 worth of petrol to give to my girlfriend for when we drive back to Lincolnshire this Saturday.
Cube Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 BGS Complete Collection: I traded in a few games I don't see myself playing again: COD4 (£20), Batman (£20) and Borderlands (£25) and paid £35 for it. Modern Warfare 2 arrived today. £38. Some shoes, the best cheap ones I could find (that weren't horrible slip ons or really points ones). £20.
gmac Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Birthday present for myself (only out on Tuesday though so need to wait for it )
Shorty Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Oh, God. Why? Why wasn't there anyone around today? Anyone who could've stopped me? Just bought a 1080p 42" TV. I went and looked at it in Currys before coming home and buying it online with quidco (lol). It's so huge. So purdy.
Wesley Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 I'd of got you to buy a blu-ray player as well.
Shorty Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Haha, naw one day I might get a PS3 so a blu-ray player would be future-redundant. It's got 4 HDMI ports, and I've got a 5 or so metre HDMI cable going from my PC to my TV, so I can get my 1080p fix from there It was £479, with about £15 cashback from quidco (hence why I didn't grab it in store). It was cheaper than the 37" model....
Wesley Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 It's about so wide. *sticks out arms* It gets most of those channel things. Like BBC and stuff. Er... It has colour and stuff.
