What? When was the last time a Metroid game sold reasonably in Japan? Why would they cancel a game that's mainly for a western audience and showed with all the flair of an E3 conference?

I think you're missing the point on purpose, online gaming should be free to begin with, specially if its a p2p service as xbox live, in no way is it comparable to having electricity in the house. And while people continue to try to justify Microsoft for its current scheme, it will continue to happen. I'm just glad they can't pull that shit on the pc. Stars don't have much to do with Wiiware points, its obvious they didn't want them to be equal in value, its more of a bonus marketing thing for Nintendo to promote some swag. And virtual cards are just codes, if they don't have that many generated, it can be sold out, it happened in Steam too recently during that crazy Christmas sale. The card system is certainly not for simplicity of use, its done in a way that you will always find your self just 100 or 200 points away from a new game and end up buying another 500 point card, leaving you with more superfluous points. -

PS3 has the best exclusive games at the moment, and it all boils down to that. Besides, the 360 is one old console at this point and in the downward sales curve of its life, so unless you're ok with just catching up, its a bad choice. -

I'm sure project Sora or the new Retro Studio games will be great but they don't have the same brand name and therefore sales of the other Trinity games. Seriously, what's new? Since when did Nintendo consoles had third party support in the last 15 years? I'm pretty sure they would be complaining of how Nintendo games take away sales from them if 2009 wasn't such a slow year even for Nintendo. We all know how they work, its just wishful thinking or even LIES, to tell people to fuck off. Personally I don't believe or expect a Zelda this year, but then again, I also believed they would show Zelda in E3 09 and no Mario Galaxy sequel.
