This shit is just too sleazy, all that security affair thing and pressure tatics culminating with the sacking of these guys, is just fucking scary. They did this their best studio! Their game made up a huge percentage of Activision's profits last year, and this is the payment they get, I can't possibly imagine how they treat their other devs. In a few years Activision will have no good franchise, no brand acceptance, and Bobby Kotick will have long left the ship that he ran himself into the ground, and taken all he can with him for all those years of unsustainable profit. Gotta love rampant capitalism.

Not strictly but I imagine its considerably harder without help, unless it scales up. At least I had a great experience alone with the Japanese demo.

Two things. Fist there isn't a Heavy Rain like game on the 360 either, its just not a common type of game, and I agree with who said that many of the people who aren't fanboys and followed the hype will be disappointed. Second, more graphic power never meant third parties on Nintendo consoles. N64 and the GameCube also had virtually no third party support, at least not comparable to the other consoles of their time. And lets just face it, Nintendo will NEVER do what's necessary to bring them around and that's moneyhats. MS moneyhated they're way through this gen, and even Sony realized they can't compete with MS, so they started a robust first party support.

What letters? Heavy Rain is experimental in its gameplay, because aesthetically anyone can get into it. It has amazing graphics, a realistic world, and it comes with the premise of a great story. It also had good marketing and production values, it was fully translated to many languages, including Portuguese, with a great cast of actors. It even appeared on a prime time news over here. I more interested in the reaction people have while they're playing it. And comparing to the Wii, you have nothing like it on the Wii, there's no first party effort for that kind of game. And add to that a big piracy problem.

It is a very well thought game. Besides its good presentation with an 80s/early 90s cartoon theme and song (before everything was Japanese animation), that I think many of us can relate too, it has some subtle design details that make it that much better, like using butterflies to mark the start of a platform or the sound it makes before a star appears, and like someone already said, its really forgiving with its jump mechanic making it hard to fault the game for our failures. New Highscore: 71862.

People have shown you that there's no evidence as to this being so obviously the official boxart of Galaxy2. It is official art, but not necessarily the boxart.

The dodges is what's appealing me more, I imagine in harder parts it can get incredibly rhythmic and satisfying if done correctly, making a really good cinematic experience.

I've made that mistake too, but with the Super Mario Land credits music. It can ruin a music, now I just leave the standard beeping on the phone.
